Bought two of these mounts for two different optics with the expectation of having the ability to easily interchange them between different platforms. I only got a chance to use one of these mounts on two trips to the range. Mount performed extremely poor. Could not zero optic due to excessive movement. Attempted to tighten up mount to remove excessive movement and tie rod broke. Disassembled and inspected locking mechanism. Found tie rod broke at a machined groove for an e-clip which is also it's weakest link. Measured the outside diameter of the e-clip groove where tie rod broke and found that whatever expensive optic you have mounted to this thing is only held on by a 1/8" diameter piece of steel at it's weakest point which can break at any moment. Wasted a lot of time and effort trying to make these things work. Could not overcome design issues and had no confidence in reliability of mount and risk having a tie rod break causing damage to an expensive optic. Jumped through the hoops with Amazon and filed a claim through their "A to Z Guarantee " . Explained these issues and got denied not once but twice after I provided additional information and argued my point further. After not giving me any reason on the first denial , the reason they gave me on the second one was " Your claim was outside the 30 day return window" (That is pretty lame). Now ask yourself: Why would I need to file a claim if I was within the 30 day return window?? And what is the "A to Z Guarantee for anyway?? Extremely disappointed with these mounts and Amazon customer service.

The whole thing is 5 1/2 inches over all. The locking bar is only 1 1/2 inches long. The total width is the size of my rail which means you can’t snap it on and lock it down in a hurry. You could slide it on from an end but the screw that crosses it sits down in the grooves if the rail so you can’t slide it on from the end. If I ordered a wider one only the 1 1/2 inch locking bar will be in contact on one side , not the whole length of it. Good solid quality but engineered Poorly for a quick solid attach and clean release.

This riser adaptor is very poorly designed. The actual riser on top of the adaptor is too low to accommodate high-end rings such as Leupold Mark 4s. The lower clamp on the Mark 4 rings will not fit securely into the groove under the rail. There are too many moving and adjustable parts to tighten, and they will not tighten securely. The "flip" rapid closing handle will not secure and moves after multiple efforts to tighten it and avoid it inadvertently coming open. The goal of the device should be to have a secure and dependable scope mount on a high quality rifle. This is not it.

Solid looking product, I wish I was able to range test it. Unfortunately the locking pin broke during installation. I was adjusting hand tight, no tools, and it sheared between the rails. The pictures show...if you get this just be careful not to put too much pressure on the came, maybe mine was fractured. Had to return....looking into other options. Might work for you!

It was perfect for what I needed - the scope attachment needed 6 slots, and this was the only mount I could find with both 6 slots and a quick release cam lever. It arrived ahead of schedule and it was exactly as advertised.

It did the job but fit and finish were only satisfactory... the cost did reflect that state, however.

Will not grab onto rail...any rail. Thought for 30 bucks it might have a better chance of being decent than the $10 ones....it does not. it is just a $30 paper weight rather than a $10 one. I assure you, it is a waste of your time, period.

Great set up if can find in stock I have purchased two.A little pricey but gotta have.Great for different scope set ups just switch out Setups I call it a piggyback just Slap on top orig. Picitinny Pre Zeroed.
