Westland 11400006 Ericaceous Compost, Pink

Very convenient bag of compost for my little azalea tree in a pot. It’s looking healthy so hopefully I will see some lovely blooms come the spring.

Bought this to re-pot a large azalia plant and knowing it needs a special compost with zinc to grow healthily got this to do the job. My local Homebase, ten minutes walk away from me, doesn't sell small bags of this compost, only large ones, so had to order this small bag. Unfortunately the postage cost more than the product itself which is crazy and doesn't make it value for money but had little choice.

I ordered this ericaceous compost for potting up some blueberry plants, and the quality is excellent. The texture is consistently fine and free from large, uncomposted wood chunks or debris that you often find in cheaper bags. It holds moisture remarkably well without becoming waterlogged, providing great drainage when mixed with a bit of grit. Within a few weeks of repotting, my plants have shown a noticeable flush of healthy, vibrant green growth with no signs of yellowing leaves (chlorosis). It's a reliable, premium mix that does exactly what it promises.
