Kidzlane 2 Microphone Karaoke Machine (Flash Drive Must Be Formatted To FAT32 On A Windows Machine)
This product is great! The speaker system sounds great. I was able to convert all my Rockabye Baby! CD's into mp3 format and filled a SanDisk Cruzer Fit 8GB USB 2.0 Low-Profile flash drive. I'm a Mac user and had trouble trying to get the USB flash drive to work with the device. I was afraid you had to purchase the recommended flash drive that the company offered, but that was not the case. The flash drives needs to be formatted on a Windows based computer. Formatting the drive as FAT32 under a Mac OS system does not work! Luckily, I have parallels installed on my Mac and was able to format the drive with my Windows 7 image. I formatted the drive to FAT32, dropped the mp3's in, inserted the drive into the Karoake Machine and it worked like a charm! My one year old loves it!

Sound is good for a child's toy
Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She was 19 months old at Christmas. She's using it more and more. Sound is good for a child's toy. I like that it has the dual microphones. She enjoys having us sing along with her. It has a lot of features. It was a little pricier than some of the other Karaoke machines I looked at for children. But wanted something that was going to hold up and "grow" with her.The sound can be a little faint or distorted if you do no sing directly into the microphone. But we've figured it out and it's a lot of fun!

Great for kids of all ages!
I bought this for my three year old daughters birthday. She loves to sing and pretend she is holding a microphone so I thought this would be perfect. I love that it has two microphones as she has an older brother who is 5 and tends to think that her presents are his too. They both love to play with it and sing. It takes batteries and I believe also can be plugged in however it does not come with a cord to plug it in (I think this is sold separately). We have only had it for about a month but so far it is holding up well. I wish the directions were a little better as there are different things you can do with it and it doesn't fully explain how to work each option. I had to play with it a little bit to understand but once we figured it out, we were good. The three year old isn't able to turn it on and work it without assistance but the 5 year old can with no problems. Overall it was a good purchase!

Noisy fun
I purchased this for my daughters third birthday, as she loves to sing, dance, and put on little performances. She needed a little help figuring out how to use it but once it was all set up she was able to sing and dance to her hearts desire. She was a very happy birthday girl!We've had it for almost 6 months now, and it still works fine. We haven't tried it with a USB drive of other songs or anything yet (I keep meaning to -- life is busy!). My only complaint is that the cords that connects the microphones to the actual radio unit have become very stretched out and will no longer coil back. It really didn't take much pulling for them to become that way either. I wish they were made a little better, even if it meant the cords had to be thicker in order for them to coil back up. Other than that though, we love this!

Grandson LOVES it!
I had a hard time finding this because it was sold out everywhere but Kidzlane helped me with links to find it. My grandson will be 3 in a couple weeks and I ordered it for him. I was a little worried when I received it because it didn't seem "heavy enough" to withstand a toddler but it has done well. I did notice once when he dropped it the song playing stopped and I thought "its broken" but I just restarted it and it works fine. Hes dropped it lots of times so I think its pretty sturdy, he figured out quickly how to use it. I bought a low profile usb flash drive and took music from my computer and put on it and he loves it.The sound is very good for a childs toy. I was surprised how good. Its not a stereo system but doesn't have that "scratchy" sound that most kids toys have.The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that the volume can be turned up very loud. I wish there was a way for the adult to set the volume so the child cant turn it up. Most kids toys don't have volume nearly this loud.Still its a great toy, seems durable, was easy for him to learn to use, easy to put music on and appears (so far) very durable. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Karaoke Like Multifunction Stereo
Love this device. I am 24 and even j enjoy using this. This was originally bought for my daughter who turned 2 and it's become a family device. It has USB flash drive option, Bluetooth option, AUX and even plays radio stations. I wish it had an antenna to better signal local radio stations. Other than that it's surpassed my expectations. It's durable (my infant has banged this plenty times), and it has TWO microphones that allow for a second singer. It's also straightforward enough for my toddler to understand it's functions. I just wish they had an adult version but this is suffice. Volume is adjustable and is high enough without distorting the sound. Sound quality isn't great but for a child, it's sufficient for hours of fun.

So much fun!
We used to have one of those old cassette sing-along recorders ... very similar to this but for cassettes. Since the day of the cassette has long since passed, we sent it off to Good Will. My 8 year old daughter was sad to see it go and asked for a replacement for Christmas. I searched for something similar and found this. It is awesome! I love that it works with Bluetooth. That means she can pair it with her Kindle Fire to listen to music or even use my smartphone (when I'm feeling generous). She can also plug it into an MP3 player. It also picks up the radio. The microphones work very well and it is nice that you can adjust the music and microphones separately. So far she loves it. When I was searching for this I came across many similar CD players. I think this is so much better. No need to go searching for a CD to sing along with -- all our music is digital now a days anyway. This just makes so much more sense. We are very happy with it. I think my daughter will have fun with it for many years.
