Easypoxy Topside Paint Undercoater - Quart

I used this paint on my saltwater sailboat originally. It is my favorite paint of any I have tried. It flows very well and has great coverage. There is a wide range of colors but it is not tintable to my knowledge (I could be wrong). My experience is that it is very durable and resistant to most things you would run in to. Not sure about strong solvents though. It is a slick surface and cleans up with soap and water easily. It is very expensive though but you will need less paint than you would for other cheaper paints. The surface must be clean and certainly free of grease, oil, solvents, etc. It doesn't have to have a primer first on new wood but I do prime almost everything. When I use this paint I want it to last. You can thin it some but the manufacturer recommends that you only use their thinner. Any spills need to be cleaned up before it dries. It is not very forgiving on that. It will resist some solvents for short exposures - better than most paints.I love this paint for what it is intended for. Read the manufacturer's literature to make sure it will be good for your project. They are easy to contact and will answer questions and make recommendations. Marine use if some of the most demanding uses there are so it is really a quality paint.

I have a commercial boat that gets used hard. The paint stands up to alot. It goes on easy and levels out nicely even in cold weather when I Typically only have time for maintenance.

Used this product on our boat. Wooden Masts and inside around d the windows before painting. Thick and easy to use

Must apply before paint,for paint to stick.Went to Wal-Mart bought foam roller yes foam came with pan and extra roller bought 2 additional packages of foam pads for paint bought 4 paint foam brushes to smooth out after rolling out small section of primer and same procedure when applying paint.primer and paint must be sanded between coats with 220 sand paper &dont forget to tack rag between coats afterSanding give primer and paint full 24 hours to cure between sanding and applying new coats.when all done sit back and admire all your work with a cold beer because you deserve it!!!
