Great filtering, if you can screw it on your system.
I bought this 2 pack of Firebelly water filters from Amazon to replace my Camco branded filter for my water inlet on my dockside power pole for my 42 foot carver yacht. I originally had planned on just getting camco brand again but they were on backorder so after some investigation and a lot of review reading i decided to give these a try. . Another reviewer posted how its very easy to cross thread these things. Boy they weren't kidding...im now into my 2nd filter because all the other workarounds on the first one failed! Now keep in mind....im not torqing these things to oblivion...im just gently screwing on my hose on the outlet side to a point that it is barely on. And then "POP"...off comes the hose....??? I tried teflon tape...even bought a new hose with a deeper female end on it so i could get more theads in there but still....POP off comes the hose... if you try to screw it on with any effort at all the threads just cross!.. In the end, i bought a small shut off adapter that seemed to have a tighter fit with some teflon tape added..and so far so good but again, the hose and adapter is barely on there. On the positive side...(if there is one) it does do a great job of filtering and removing metals ,foul oder and all the other claims... but that's only if you can keep it attached to your water system. So add all these things together...id say move on..and choose another brand. It's a shame because the filters actually do a great job.

It works
The filter works well, maybe to well as it has become "clogged" within two weeks of use. We are in an older RV park in Florida and the filter has noticeably improved the quality of the water. I don't get the white spots on my dishes and our ice is better tasting and clearer.Note of caution: be careful how you thread the filter on, the plastic is unforgiving if you miss thread it. My husband ruined the first filter, even with plumbers tape it leaked.

Water filter quality
The unit filters the water and helps pull out that bitter flavor from some water sources that you would NOT drink otherwise. Having a problem with the threads on the filter holding to the hose, but will see if they wore quickly or if it is a hose issue. Currently a problem after only 4 uses (not a permanent hookup).

Poorly constructed
Cheap plastic, turned water on with pressure gauge and filter burst open along the side. Will never buy again

Good filters
I believe these filters are good and do there job because; it "clogs" pretty fast depending on your usage. When I removed my hose to inspect low water pressure, I shook out quite a bit of rust, etc. New filter on, problem solved. The campground I was in had really nasty water.

Sulfur removal product.
Hooked up a new Firebelly water filter on my rig about a week ago. I am hooked up to a well which contains a high sulfer content and smells and tastes a little like rotten eggs. With the filter installed you get clean fresh water with no bad taste or smell. I have and well continue to tell people about this awesome product.
