Older movies coat a little more! But this was a great movie for a great price

I remember watching this on TV when it first aired because I was and still am a Molly Ringwald fan. It took me ages to find this movie because I thought the character's name was the actress. I ordered this as soon as I found it because I've wanted it for probably 8 years. This movie is sad but also gives hope to those people who have HIV/AIDS. I highly recommend this movie as it gives what I think is an honest portrait of what it was and potentially still is like to live with HIV/AIDS, not having the disease I don't know if its honest in portrayl of life with AIDS or not but it sure felt it.

This is a TRUE story of a woman dealing with the reality of AIDS that she contracted from a one night encounter when she was ONLY 15/16 years old. This is a good movie to share with your children who are in their teenage years. So many people concentrate on NOT getting pregnant and fail to understand that they also have a very high chance of getting diseases. What a wake up call to this young lady and understand that this is right when AIDS was just becoming known. Although there is alot more known about this disease it is still nothing you want on your resume.

I love Molly Ringwald! I always have even back in the day when she was a kid in the coming of age movies such as Sixteen candles, The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink. She really did an awesome job playing the part of Alison Gertz and these are the reasons why I gave this movie 4 stars, although some scenes in the film is also somewhat painful and agonizing when they show her in the hospital and how depressed she was because she ended up with AIDS.

Molly ringwald play her part in this warm and sad movie. I hated all the man that did her so wrong I couldn’t believe that people can be that rude.

This movie is awesome true story I saw it health class in high school years ago but I really wanted to see it again so I bought it I love it!

I think this is quite a good film for young people to help them think about safe sex. The young people I have shown it to find it interesting but do think it's a bit dated fashion wise!

got this for my daughter who had it years ago but lost it, great film based on a true story ,if you love weepies, get this one you wont be disappointed.
