Upside Down [DVD] [2013]

It a really good film in my opinion

Wow - it's worth 5 stars for the graphics alone - the whole two worlds concept, whilst not entirely original, is absolutely spellbinding in this film. The 'Berlin Wall' and Romeo and Juliet parallells may seem a good idea but I actually found them to be an annoying distraction and felt that the duo world visuals could have been more thoroughly investigated throughout the whole film i.e more 'above and below' scenery. Thought it was incredible in parts and incredibly dull in others - hence the deduction of one star. Well worth a watch though.

I like th e idea of the film and it has been filmed very well however the music is far to distracting. It's too loud in comparison to the film sound. The other problem I had with it could have had more tension, I felt it just wanted to get on with the story. It kind of left me feeling I must have slipped some part of the film. Just watching the film makes me feel for these characters having the whole time to look up. I know it is just a film but even so.It's enjoyable but not perfect. I would recommend it to someone who likes this kind of films.

nice film and visually stunning but i thought the ending was rushed

Watched this on Prime after scrolling.It's a great idea and is actually an anime called Patema Inverted, roughly based on the same idea of gravity love story etc, which I loved as well.I personally love the story and the graphics are amazing. People lower the score because I read some reviews saying its not factual with the effects of gravity or the 3 laws etc, but they obviously lack imagination and a brain if they lower the rating because of that. Every fantasy or Scifi film is not factual. So why would this be any different? With two worlds side by side and humans on both with different gravity centres, yep that sounds real, right? 😂You need to take it with a pinch of salt and you will see an amazing love story.Two worlds separated by conflicting gravity and the couple on opposite sides fighting to be together.

Very interesting and different, marvellous acting and brilliant story, It has you going from the very beginning to the end. About a man who lives down the bottom wanting to go up in life, so with a bit of experimenting finds he can climb the ladder to up above than meets a girl and falls in love. Now there you go, see not that bad is it, only thing is there is more to meets the eye and you'll want to know how he manages to stay there, I'm not a tittle tat so we all know that's impossible but the show doesn't. Entertaining all the same if you are looking for something odd for a change or different to watch. I rated this an A grade plus for been strange and cleverly done with that bit of suspense that is added as well, Ready for the show with some munchies near by your hand relaxing with your feet up now it's time for the movie to start just by pressing the remote control on your DVD Get ready for a full on movie that will have you thinking. Enjoy!

The physics does not work and some parts are just plain stupid. But it's science fiction and the story is basically Romeo and Juliet but in the most literal form possible. Saying that it's a nice love story and as long as you go in with that frame of mind its quite enjoyable

Its a nice romance but the real star is the relatively novel and very interesting alternate fantasy world / reality that the romance is set in. Its been a long time since I have seen something so different. Brilliant ideas and relatively good special effects. If you are into the fantasy world / alternate reality sort of thing, this is a really good film and definitely worth a watch.
