can the 911 key be turned off? mom has dementia and would call 911 constantly when using the phone.

My wife changed the 911 key to call my cell. Now the center picture and the 911 both call the same number.The other pictures are turned off. Not sure if you can turn the 911 key off.

I wish to program each number with a family member for my grandmother, will she have to push photocall than the number to dial the family member?

No. Set button in back of phone to one touch fialing. She will just have to pick up the phone, wait for dialtone and push one family member button.

will this phone work with a digital phone signal from a cable/internet/phone company, or does it need to be a wired landline?

I can't answer 100%, but I would say yes it would. That was what it was hooked up to when I 1st tried to put in the 1 touch phone numbers, but I tried it at my home on a land line and had the same problem. But it should not make any difference. I returned it for a refund and ordered a version of the same concept by Clarity. Reviews were not great on it also, but I guess I will find out. Seems like such a great concept, so why does someone just spend another few bucks more and manufacture a quality version? Good luck
