Easy to change the fits of the valve versus re-plumbing a new one down inside a muddy hole!

I didn’t need the whole valve but just the internal parts and cap. Replacing parts was easy as I didn’t have to dig up and replace the whole valve. I would absolutely prefer and buy a parts option that included everything but the valve body at a better price.

Before receiving this replacement valve I tried a local provider. They wanted $13 just for the diaphragm. All I had to do when this part arrived was replace the jar top housing and the inside parts. Works like new!

One zone in our irrigation system failed to properly turn off following de-winterization (this is first summer in the house after moving, system is ~10 years old). Was able to take the top off this new valve, replace the top of the existing valve, and now works good as new.

Exactly what we needed and well made .

The solenoid was defective. Did not work. Fortunately, the old solenoid was still working so I am using that one. Disappointing.
