American Mask Project Reusable Cloth Face Mask (Pack of 2)

I recommend, BUT SUPER WAY OVERPRICED!!!!! It should cost about $5-6, NOT worth even near $20 price. I almost took off a star for the price.I have been trying SO MANY DIFFERENT masks that I have a huge pile of ill-fitting, scratchy, itchy, too small, too big, too loose, too tight ones that it is INSANE!! And all of the afore mentioned items were heavily researched by myself all over the internet and word speak from others.•I am in my mid-forties and STILL have horrific acne and even more sensitive skin than I had in my teens; this seemingly permanent wearing of face masks seems good the the population, but a nightmare for my acne and now wrinkles around my eyes. I have spent more time finding a decent mask (here) then it has taken me time to find a good skin cream from Lancome or Clinique! GEEZE!! However, this mask product is not without flaws; It is fairly thin material (flimsily to some) and is wads up into a super tiny ball, so it is easily misplaced and lost by my teenagers and small child. But, my kids will tolerate this more than any other mask. (Pro: It smells better then most after hand washing.) Another CON: It seams somewhat more flimsy, and may tear/rip easily. I’ve had this about a week.It also seems like it MIGHT stretch out from the Stretchy earpieces. And it IS super thin, and no nose wires or anything. compared to some others.But this makes it so much better to breathe even when hugging all your face.I am size 5’8 and a 190 pounds- so it IS a bit looser on my 10 and 7 year old sons; perfect for my 14 year old son. •••LADIES, wearing this mask earpieces is similar to a Spanx Shaper material. The actual covering is like wearing a thicker panty hose or pair of tights over your face...... (maybe you CAN make one out of spanx yourself????)At least the masks all cover my ever-more acne outbreaking face!!! This mask is the lesser of all evils.

I have been using these masks when I go out for about a month now. I bought them because in the product photo they really looked thick like they would be more protective than the blue masks that comes in packs of 50 for $30-$40. It turns out though that these are actually on the thinner side compared to some other cotton masks that I’ve used since all this craziness started in February-March. Some people have mentioned trouble breathing while wearing the masks, I dunno if they are smokers or just have weak lungs or what, but for me, these masks are actually the easiest ones to breathe through of all the ones I have tried so far. If you just need a basic cloth mask and being made in the United States is important to you, I think this product is a good one to check out. I think the price is a little high but my masks are still holding up fine after about a dozen cycles in the washing machine, so they are sufficiently well made (in my opinion).

I really like these. Do they have their flaws? Yes they do. But do they get the job done, fit great and feel great? Also yes they do. There are folds and a pocket for a filter and occasionally things can go haywire and suddenly you have a mouth full of fabric. A little fabric tape or a needle and thread are a quick fix if you don't intend to use a filter. I mapped out the section around my mouth and nose and added another thicker more densely sewn cotton and stitched the pocket closed. Anywho I ordered the grey as well.

Not sure why people are saying it doesn’t fit or that its uncomfortable. The material is almost like a sheer jersey that is very breathable and feels soft on my face. No rough edges that cause irritation and once I found the right position on my nose, had minimal to no fogging of my glasses. You can definitely fit a filter in the mask if you so choose.I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to follow the CDC recommendations and wear a cloth covering to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

This fabric is very thin, thinner than expected. It has an insert, and I would highly recommend putting a filter in it. Does cover your nose/mouth, but it has to fully stretch to do so. I would return it, but I’m sure they won’t return due to COVID. Will just make the best of it.

This mask has a pouch on the back where you can insert a filter. The fabric on this pouch is loose enough that when you talk, it winds up in your mouth. Found myself constantly trying to adjust these and spit out fabric. Otherwise, the quality is good, and they fit well.

This black mask is made from a more comfortable material than the gray one pictured. But like the gray mask it also is to small for any adult. Pulls you ears down and does not cover much of an adult face.

Took a while to get. But was more than happy with the product! I would order again! Go USA!!
