I used 3 strands (based off other reviews) no had plenty of theead left over (tried to show in the picture).The aida came with the pattern printed on, was relatively easy to follow but will say there was a few places where it didn't match up 100% with the squares. Easy enough to work out. The code/pattern was relatively simply to follow, the actual code didn't make loads of sense though... and to see the difference between 2 of them I occasionally needed to use my torch on my phone.Really easy to wash the stamp off, just soaked it in warm water for 15mins (i rinsed and changed the water a couple of times, as was worried it would stain the white thread or aida)Result; happy with it, enjoyed doing it and definitely prefer stamped to counting!

The adia is very thick, I used 3 strands and had more than enough thread. Finished product was excellent. Start with darkest colours first. Printed design on adia washes off very easily when project is finished.
