I even bought a small chest freezer just to accommodate the case purchases that make them highly affordable as well as wonderfully convenient.I find the "small" serving size to be a feature rather than a flaw. If I need more, I will heat another, I almost feel like eating a second Lamb Vindaloo now.But I would just be pigging out because it tastes SO good.The Spice-heat levels do vary per batch of some of the more spicy hot TC products.I would not describe the TC Lamb Vindaloo I received as any hotter than that 2.5 out of 5 as was noted by a prior reviewer. A 2.5 is my favorite heat level as it allows me to taste the spice nuance and certainly the lamb flavor.The lamb is flavorful and tender if a little to well trimmed for my personal taste (as I like a little fat with the lean lamb chunks.)The Vindaloo is superb, I was stunned that a frozen Lamb Vindaloo dinner could be this good.This is not the TV dinner.of my youth. After I read some of the HIGH HEAT warnings of prior reviewes, I took a page from a Texans book and mixed myself up a bowel of Raita (Indian Yogurt and Cucumber Condiment) to go with my Amazon shipped TC dinner. Thanks Texan, wonderful side condiment to go with the Lamb Vindaloo.Ordered in the winter to assure the Dry Ice would make it. It did, Dinners were frozen solid. There was enough room in the shipping box to allow for a big enough block of dry ice to suffice for ANY on time delivery via PRIME - THANKS AMAZON!Now if Deep Tandoor Chef would only get my beloved Tandoor Chef Chicken Biryani, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) back in stock!! Please Deep, get cooking!As to this this TC Lamb Vindaloo : it rates the 5 stars in MY book, best I ever had frozen, as good as many of the better restaurant Lamb Vindaloo dinners I have ever had.

Wow, I'm a Texan and a chile-lover and was very happy that this dish "brought the heat"...it ain't for sissies. If you love lamb and you like things hot, hot, hot you will love this. Where I live I am very disappointed by the quality of Indian Food available.The lamb is tender, so much so, I wonder if they cook it in a pressure cooker?When I first prepared the Vindaloo, my house smelled faboo! I wish I'd ordered naan to go with it, though, as it blew my head off with that first bite. I prepared a yogurt/cucumber/cilantro side dish and that cooled me down on the next go round.It's so good, I'm thinkin' of inviting folks over for a "home cooked Indian feast" and just nuking this and bringing it to the table.I agree w/the portion size being more lunch than dinner portion.

These Tandoor Chef Lamb Vindaloo meals are quite authentic tasting and quite pleasantly spicy! I absolutely love lamb vindaloo and seldom order anything other than that when we go out for Indian food.These arrived packed in dry-ice and still frozen, which is still somewhat amazing when you consider we live in a fairly rural area. Cooking in the microwave took 4.5-minutes (stirring once) and it is a decent sized portion.As noted above, these are fairly spicy but not to the point that it overshadows the excellent flavor!Highly Recommended!CFH

I really like Tandoor chef products and wanted to give this dish a try. While I am a fan of spicy/hot foods - this one is extreme! The hot kind of overpowers the dish for me though. For instance, I can't immediately taste lamb, it could kind of be any meat covered in a hot spice and actually has more of a beef taste than a lamb taste for me (we eat both in my home and I can usually tell the different in flavor). If you really want to have quick easy foods and you enjoy really hot food - you might really like this one. It was just a little too hot for me to handle. It may take me quite a bit to finish off the 12 packages.

The lamb is tender and spiced like a true "Vindaloo", which is quite spicy. Strange thing I discovered--if I eat the food warm and not piping-hot, then the spice level is "medium to hot." If you heat it according to instructions, then you'll get a habanero-like hotness. There are about 3-4 chunks of lamb in each meal (perhaps 3-4 ounces' worth), so it's more of a lunch-sized portion at under 400 calories. It is delicious, and I have not had any better at Indian restaurants.

It was good but it was not as hot/spicy as others are claiming. Maybe a two and a half alarm fire. Nothing like a five.

I don't do reviews, but when I do only I do reviews when I'm ecstatic. As a curry lover, brought up in the UK it has been hard to find good Indian food except for a few restaurants here and there. This product solves my problem! It's great if you know your curry.I just need a saag aloo, keema rice and peshwari naan now and I'll be very happy!

Lamb is tender and tasty. Only wish the portion of lamb was larger
