Samsung LC27JG56QQUXEN 27" Curved Gaming Monitor - WQHD 2560x1440, 144Hz, Freesync, 2x HDMI, DisplayPort, Dark Silver

Did alot of browsing for a cheap, well functioning 1440p monitor and couldn't find many good contenders, then this godsend comes up. My god is this thing a beast for the price, 1440p, 144hz, 27'', great colour accuracy, a sleek design (however a little bulky at the back), its got the whole package. Some people seem to have reported dead pixels on their screen, but from my ~2 months of owning this screen I haven't seemed to come across any (this might not mean there are none, I did a check and found none, it does mean however that IF there ARE dead pixels they are barely noticable and not anything to be worried about). From my long period of using the monitor i've only found 2 things that were slightly annoying, but not enough to stop me recommending this. First is that I dont have a window or any major light sources facing the monitor but it reflects the light a bit too well, and it can get a bit distracting at times, so you may have to keep that in mind when finding a place to put it. Secondly would be the blur that occurs, if you keep you eyes on the mouse and move it around you can see a pretty decent chunk of motion blur that is pretty clearly visible, however in gameplay and movie watching it's not too noticeable. Other than that there's really no reason why anyone shouldn't get this monitor if they're on a budget and wanting a high quality 27'' 144hz 1440p display. Tl;Dr: if you're on a budget and looking for a great monitor for gaming, movie watching, or any sort of extended play, there's not many better choices than this.

Bought this monitor from amazon around the time of black friday. Came well packaged, both EU and UK plugs provided. HDMI port outputs at 144hz and a HDMI cable is included. Pictures are sharp and vibrant, lots of settings to adjust accordingly. Eye saver mode works wonders when using the monitor for working. Only drawback is the stand isn't very adjustable, however I haven't needed to adjust it. If you're looking for a 1440p 144hz monitor on a budget, this is definitely one to go for.

The monitor itself is excellent quality and i would reccomend.has amd sync.however My monitor arrived with a power cable that was clearly a mainland european plug and included was a uk adaptor that would not fit. Comes with a basic HDMI cable and not a DP cable. To get full advantage a DP cable is required. Trying to speak to any customer services online is proving near impossible. Both amazon and samsung are playing off against each other. All i was is a UK power cable and a DP wire.

Wow. What a curve. With visuals to match. I've honestly always thought that curves on monitors/tvs was a bit of gimmick. I was wrong. Even with the smaller 27", the small bezels and slight curvature means the display looks far bigger than it actually is. If you get the freesync model (tip: enable it on the monitor settings also), games @ 144hz seem almost cinematic compared to my ageing 60hz 24 incher. The whites are bright and the blacks are dark. There is little to no ghosting that I can see and the native 2k resolution seems perfect for the dimensions. There has been complaints about build quality. It is admittedly a bit plasticy as far as the stand is concerned, but it functions well enough and once it's in position, it's something you'll forget about. On my model at least, I don't seem to have found any manufacturing faults or dead pixels either. All in all, I'm definitely pleased with the purchase and would happily buy another if I needed it.

So crisp and clear when gaming in 2K. Runs at 144htz with the RTX 2060. Easy to install and setup. Few dislikes: didn’t know it had no speaks. I saw the volume control in the menu BUT that’s only for headphones that are directly plugged into the screen. Also the led on the monitor works very strangely. It’s off then the monitor is on and displaying something. It’s on brightly when the monitor is turned off and flashes when the monitor is asleep. Other than that no issues.

Use this for gaming (mostly the Witcher 3 at the minute) and I can say the refresh rate is amazing for work, the picture quality is really good, no issues for me at all. Other monitors of the exact same calibre are going for substantially higher prices than this, it might not be the BEST overall for 1440p 144hz but I genuinely think it must be one of the best VALUE in this price range and category.

The picture quality is great, I reccomend switching from the included HDMI cable. The monitor may have a slight buzz when on 144hz and highest brightness for the first couple of days, don't worry about it as it will go away after ~10hours.

Based on other reviews I'll answer what I was concerned about before purchasing: No dead pixels or stuck pixels. It has a UK plug. It has a built in eye saver mode you can toggle whenever. You can set the annoyingly bright, blue LED to be off when the screen is off and on when it's on. I had duct-tape over it for weeks so I could sleep at night before I tried looking at the settings: Menu > System > *scroll all the way down* Power LED On > Working The curve is subtle. It light enough for a cheap monitor arm. It has 75mm VESA mounting holes. I have no faults at all to report, I'm thinking of buying a second as it makes my second 23" monitor look stupid.

Je cherchais un bon écran pour gaming/programmation. cet écran me parait comme le choix logique. Pour le gaming ce n'est pas le meilleur puisqu'il ne donne pas la main pour bien configurer les paramètres de refresh rate, input lag... lorsque le freesync est activé. Pour la programmation c'est très supérieur au autres écrans. Idempour les films et les vidéos (luminosité et contrast parfait). J'ai reçu c'est article 2 semaine en retard, il faut que Amazon arrête d'envoyer via Chronopost!!!

Ottimo monitor ad un ottimo prezzo. Provata anche la compatibilità con scheda gsync dato che ho una 1080ti e dal mio punto di vista funziona perfettamente, solo nelle schermate di caricamento dei giochi c'è uno leggero sfarfallio che scompare quando il gioco si e caricato. Leggero blackbleeding ma impercettibile quando si gioca. Qualità prezzo imbattibile per ora. E il mio primo monitor 2k e ne sono molto soddisfatto.

Questo monitor è uscito recentemente e molto probabilmente sono il primo a recensirlo.. o almeno ci provo ;D -Ottimo pannello; -Non ci sono aloni o light bleeding sulla mia unità; -Resa visiva decisamente interessante; -Design moderno e minimale; -Cornici molto sottili con dettagli argentati (per staccare dal solito nero); -Buon assemblaggio con una buona cura per i dettagli; -Il freesync nella modalità standard funziona senza problemi di flikering con GPU AMD. Edit: dopo duesettimane .. confermo tutto.. sono decisamente soddisfatto! Edit: dopo tre settimane .. questa sera in mezzo al display è comparso un pixel anomalo che diventa azzurro quando il monitor va sotto sforzo ( basta guardare qualche video su youtube per farlo comparire.. ) .. purtroppo sarò stato sfortunato.. peccato.

Llevo ya unas semanas con el monitor, por lo que puedo dar ya mi opinión. Pros: Pantalla de muy buena calidad, de 27 " Resolución 2k. 144 Hz y es compatible con freestyle. El precio, que lo pillé por 250€. Contras (para mí no son, pero para algunos si q lo son): No de puede regular ni en altura ni para los lados. No tiene altavoces. Brillo de serie bastante alto, yo lo he bajado a 20 de 100. Lo de los altavoces y q no de puede regular, no es algo que sea un fallo, porque yo uso altavoces y con sus 27" y la base tampoco hace falta regularlo, al menos para mí.
