I bought the blanket for my friend who rescued a beautiful black cat. The cat was very ill, had lost all of it's hair, and needed a great amount of TLC to be become as beautiful as it is now. The problem is, it is too skiddish to come inside. Where I live, we experienced the worst snow storm since the 1930's. My friend made a warm comfy bed for the cat in a safe spot. I bought the blanket with the hope of keeping "Bob" snuggly warm. This product is everything it is claimed to be! Bob is a happy kitty. He has to be coaxed out his snuggly bed to be brushed. The weather has warmed with Spring. Bob still can be found happy, safe, and warm, sleeping the day away! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for this QUALITY product!

My little girl, Gracie is always cold. She likes to sleep on top of the Dish Network modem where heat is generated. So I bought one of these and put it in the other room to encourage her to find another sleeping spot. It took a little time but eventually she found Comfort laying on top of this mat in front of the backyard window. Now she can look outside and stay warm. Sometimes I do move it on top of the modem where she likes to sleep so I can enjoy her while I'm watching TV. Here's a picture of her sleeping on top of the mat.

This mat does reflect body heat, but my cat is weird and doesn't like the crunchy sound it makes when she walks on it. I draped it over her bed for a week and she wouldn't sleep in it! I ended up giving to to my sister and her kitten loves it.

Our kitty loves this--it really works (and without electricity). We placed our hand on it and within seconds we could feel warmth.

My feral cat loves it she is in it night & day. She is warm without cords to chew on or get tangled in.

My cat loves her mat. She is an outdoor cat and she has a really cushy and plush chair that we keep on the covered porch for her, but she has been sitting on the mat instead of her favorite chair. It must really work.

I am so glad I bought this ThermaPet Thermal Mat. My stray cat absolutely loves it. Now that the nights are getting chilly he is in it every night.It really does what it advertises. I highly recommend this product if you have outdoor cats.
