We are sorry we bought this thermometer. It's probably just barely ok for adults. Highly unreliable readings. The price is ok, but so is the quality of it. Not happy with this product.

It worked well for a few weeks
But now 3 months later it says everyone has a temp of 98. Last night my daughter was on fire and it still said 98. So I went back to the old faithful thermometer that takes forever under her arm and her temp was 102. I don't recommend this for anyone as I now have to go and get a new one. What a waste of money.

I really like this item. I only wish they had these when the kids were little. It came the day I got back from an operation; and had to keep tract of the temps.

Works great. Turn it on, then wait for 2 beeps, then put it against the forehead, then wait for a single beep then check the display.
