Works perfect on one USB port
I bought this to retrofit a camera for my church. After testing it at home, I couldn't get it to work... All I had to do was put it in a different USB port of the laptop. I didn't see if one was 2.0 and the other 3.0... but, when it's in the correct one, it works like a charm.

Worked at first, then after about 1 hour it did not.
I seen the reviews, but wanted to give it a shot myself. I tested this unit with constant video signal via HDMI 1080p 60Hz. It lasted about 1 hour before the red input signal error light stated to flicker more and more. I was watching the logs on my laptop and seen it constantly dropping frames. I checked the temp and it was at about 103° F. At this point I unplugged/replugged the HDMI to see if it fixed it, nothing. I then unplugged/replugged the USB, which power cycles it, and then it never received video any longer. I tried another USB port, and the error light stopped for a few seconds, then flickered more, and still never received video. At this point, it no longer works. Returning unit, will try another.

Does not provide 2 inputs on Macintosh M1
I purchased this in order to have a compact multiple input livestreaming system which would accompany my professional equipment. Unfortunately, I must use a PC system in order to accomplish this until the issue is resolved. On my PC both inputs show up: UC3300S1 and UC3300S2, but on my Mac Air M1 with OBS 29 and the Apple official Photo Booth app only the UC3300S1 works. I've also filed feedback with Apple just in case it's an OS issue (possible based on the diagnostics). Both camera inputs support 1920x1080 YUY2 and 48khz audio.

Plug and Play, inexpensive
As a novice in this, I wasn't too sure how difficult it would be to configure for video streaming at my church. It proved to really be plug and play, and the camera (Avipas AV-1080W) fed a clear signal to my computer as soon as it was all connected. Happy with the purchase.

Gets hot and picture warps
Bought two of these for running livestream. Camera 1 was a Canon C100 MK2 and camera 2 was a PTZ Optics camera. After a few minutes, the picture gets distorted. Sometimes the resolution changes and warps back. Returned one unit the first week that we used it due to this issue and returned the second a month after, due to the same issue. If you're running SDI, I'd stay away from these.

Works fantastically
Solid product that works without issue. We have purchased other capture cards that had questionable functionality. This capture device is great since it has both SDI and HDMI inputs and works without issue. Highly recommend!
