Filthy Soldier all natural glycerin BAR SOAP Sandalwood Pine Rosemary Cedar

In terms of smell, and fulfilling its job as soap, this soap is fantastic. Cleans you and smells amazing, with strong, piney herbal scent. That's where the good parts end.This soap is extremely unpleasant to use because two of the six sides are covered in seeds. Like the manufacturer deliberately embedded hundreds upon hundreds of seeds into the edges. They're bumpy, they're unpleasant, and because this is a brick of soap, they shed onto your hands and down the drain of your sink/shower constantly. They add nothing other than unpleasant texture. I tried cutting off the layer of seeds only to find that there are more layers of them hidden deeper in the bar. I cannot fathom why someone would do this, other than to cheat on the price per ounce ratio.Very unpleasant, potentially might cause sensory issues, will not be buying again.

I have a mix of dry and oily skin. Other bars that claim to work on sensitive skin (such as Dove or Jergens), still always leave my skin dry and prone to acne break outs. This soap has made a significant improvement to my acne - and barely any dryness after showering. I have a feeling that if I didn't take such hot showers there would be NO dryness at all! It's really fantastic. Since this bar is all-natural, the bar included natural exfoliates which surprised me at first because I've never used an all-natural bar. These exfoliates include thyme needles and seeds, which of course get on you when you're using it. After my shower, you could see remnants of what looked like "dirt" in the tub. These really do rinse off clean, though it might take some getting used to. It lathers quite well and easily. The smell is extremely powerful when you're taking a shower is a little unpleasant to my girlfriend though I didn't mind it much. However, after showering the lingering smell on your skin is fairly light, not overpowering in the least, and smells like sandalwood mostly.

While it may feel as if you’re rubbing mulch all over yourself; other than that, this soap is great. The smell is fantastic; it has somewhat of a cologne sent while at the same time, the rosemary pieces are very good for exfoliating pores.

First shower with this stuff, and I feel like more of a man than I ever have. Smells like pine, man, and clean. Instantly gives you the desire to grow a beard, and go chop some wood, or do manly stuff.

Blah. Just average glycerin soap. Nothing special.

Just a bar of rosemary leaves. No sandlewood or pine or any other scent.way way to much rosemary.

Great soap as long as you don't mind a tub full of mulch.
