A very competent UPS.
Unit arrived very well packaged. The retail box was inside a much thicker transit/shipping box. The ups looks very smart, and the build quality appears high. The front display remains backlit for 1 minute, before turning off. But tapping the power button turns it back on. I have the Power Walker connected to a desk running 2x 32” lcd monitors, a desktop PC, DVD burner, flatbed scanner and inkjet printer. On a full charge, the ups will power the desk for 45 minutes. The PC linked with the ups no problem, via the usb connection, and the low battery signal worked fine in shutting the PC down after 45 minutes. The ups makes a slight humming/buzzing noise when charging. But you can only hear it in a totally quiet room. On power loss, the switchover is instant, the monitors do not even flicker. The only indication that anything has happened, is the the ups will beep once ever 20-30 seconds. The batteries inside are the universally available Yuasa 7Ah, motorbike type. So replacing them in the future will be easy. For quality versus features versus performance, I don’t see how the Power Walker 900 can be beaten.

Fantastic
Great idea , saves no end of hassle now , recently been getting quite a few power glitches , saves my step sons ps5 from crashing and having to wait for it to release install , if power goes off and come back in a few seconds , saves restarting , if it’s off longer gives him time to see the screen and shut it down properly , should of got one of these ages ago , save all the heartache of loosing data and crashes of console .

Nice powerful UPS but the fan is noisy
I bought this as my other UPS went and broke. It's nice and compact and has good power reserve but the fan is on all the time and in my small office it's distracting to say the least. Since buying it I've replaced the batteries in the old one which will be back on duty soon. It is a shame the fan isn't on a thermostat. Even on no load it's stays on. It's the high pitch whining that penetrates everything. There's nothing wrong with the unit but it'll be the backup's backup from now on. The display is clear and it's small for the power it provides. I would recommend if you can put up with the fan.

Good Value
Arrived Quickly, not noticed it being any noisier than other UPS's that I use yet it runs cool, good value, lets see how it does battery life over the coming years
