Invacare CG9701 CareGuard APP Alternating Pressure Pad System, Beige, 80" Length, 34" Width, 2.5" Height

My elderly friend developed a sacral bedsore during convalescence after surgery. I set her up with this pad and within a couple days, the skin healed. Checking since, no sign of any more sores. It makes a gentle whooshing noise that isn't bothersome. It's about 18" too long for the twin bed, but it's easy to drape down the extra over the foot of the bed. This product saved us from a very poor outcome.

This air pad is easy to setup and so far has been working very well for my 91 year old mom. No more tailbone pain. A little hard to tell what it is doing or how to set the pressure. So far I must be doing it right. All good.

Mattress has helped relieve skin sores on my wife's back. She is basically quadriplegic. This has been a great investment for her and is helping her skin issues a lot. I would recommend for someone that has skin lesions, bed sores, to get this air mattress.PS : to reduce noise I just put it on the carpeted floor rather than hang on the bed frame. I can hardly hear it now.

This is a quality product and it greatly improves the hard bed at my daughter's house but even though the pump is not real loud it sends a vibration through my pillow. I am rather sensitive to noise. I love the constant movement of the air pressure but the plastic does crackle when you move around even with a mattress pad on top. If I were bedbound though, I would want this! I wanted it for easy travel bed comfort. Not so great for that.

My Wife Has Multiple Sclerosis and can't roll over on her own. She uses it to prevent pressure sores when sleeping, a job it has done well, not one sore in 6 years! Our first one lasted 6 years of nightly use. What failed was NOT the mattress! (Even with cats in the house!) It was the pump that failed.

I was pretty disappointed. I bought this for my mom’s client and there was a hole on the hose. Hopefully I can just get a replacement hose. Please help!

Mattress works well but the biggest and best thing is a super quiet pump. What a blessing!

This is a great item. I had one for 2 years for my handicapped child on life support, but the mattress stopped working, so I reordered a new one from Amazon website. But Beware: Purchase this item direct from Amazon. I ordered wrongly from an independent medical seller that claimed they fulfilled the order & showed it delivered 500 miles from where I live. I almost got scammed out of my money, but I was persistent. This scammer unscrupulous seller tied me up for over 2 weeks when my poor little child needed this alternating air mattress & pump so badly.
