Hopefully we’ll never need it, but it’s like insurance, it’s a pain to pay monthly premiums, but if you need it and don’t have it you’re in a very bad way!I haven’t used the window breaker on my car, I thought I’d keep them the way they are for now, but I assume the provided tool will do the job. I also have not cut my seatbelts, tried it on a nylon strap and it worked pretty well. The siren is pretty loud; I don’t think you would use it for a highway breakdown but might come in handy for a panic siren. The flashlight and flashing red beacon, are pretty bight, I assume bright enough to be seen on the highway if needed.IssuesI expected it to have a little more weight to it. It’s very light for this type of tool, but that might be appealing to ladies that don’t want the heaviness. But I do have concerns about durability.RecommendationYes, I would recommend this emergency tool, because of its versatility. At $24.95 I don’t think it’s a bargain, but a fair price. I have been wanting one of these for a while, so I was glad to be able to review this item. It is a nice size, not too big or too small, and has a very sturdy and quality feel to it. The flashlight on the top is a nice bright light, and I like the fact that it has the bumpy edges on top. The blinking emergency light is also a nice touch. The alarm sound is nice and loud, too! The buttons to control the alarm, light, and flashlight are easy to find and push, which would make using this in an actual emergency much easier since you would not have to be fumbling around trying to turn it on. The magnet on the bottom of it is meant to attach to the top of your car when using the flashing emergency light or alarm if needed. I tried that out and it has a very strong hold on the top of my car, and even on the side of my door, which is fantastic. I love that the seat belt cutter attached to it is not a pair of scissors or something like that. It looks like it would be very easy to use. I am hoping that I can find something similar to a seat belt to be able to try it out on so I will update this when I try that out! The glass break tool has a safety cover on it which I thought was a nice added bonus, and even better is that when you slip the cover off to use it, it stays attached to the unit itself so it doesn't get lost AND you can remove it with one hand!Overall this is a great product and not only did it live up to my hopes and expectations for it, but it actually exceeded them!***I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review***
