OMG!!!!
I absolutely loved this story. I found myself laughing until I cried. The banter between the feisty heroine and her hero was so well written they jumped off the page. The story was amazing. There was no lack of sweetness or steam. The perfect balance of amazing characters a great story and sexy heat. My hero Alexx Andria. I want to be like you when I grow up. Fantastic job

Dear Phoney Fiance
This was an enjoyable story. Who knew that an arrangement entered into to get back at those who did you wrong could lead to new beginnings. Enjoyed. Recommend.

So good!
This is such a fun, enjoyable book to read! I found the dialogue great, teasing and funny. I teared up in chapter 10 (good tears) for Jace. Wonderful to see longtime friends leave their hurts behind them and move on to their individual futures. Read it. You’ll like it. Thanks Alexx.

Dear Phoney Fiance!
This is an interesting addition to the "Matchmaker" series. These are all stand alone reads that are unrelated with the exception of Grace's dating service. All of these stories are so different but focus on meeting through Grace the matchmaker. Grace has a different take on matchmaking that is a little old school. This story is a little different than the other ones I have read because it's more about agency and really nothing to do with Grace. The story is a lot different from the others I have read because there is no hand written letter. Overall, this short story is some what sweet, hilarious with all the banter with a touch of steam. I just could have done with a lot less "F" bombs being dropped. They were not necessary to the story. This story is about Cara and Jace. Both of their ex's cheated on them. Jace's fiancee cheated on him with his suppose to be "best friend". Cara caught her boyfriend in a very compromising situation. She is signed up via friends; he signs up to find a date for the wedding of his ex best friend and ex fiancee. The chemistry between them is off the charts! This story is very witty but did drag in some spots.*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.*

Great Chemistry
To be honest I normally avoid the “Phony” genre that’s going around, this author is one that I have liked their work before so I decided to brave it. The story turned out to be very sweet and sexy with low angst.Cara is setup by her girlfriends on an online dating site as a way for her to get over her cheating ex. She reluctantly decides to go on a date with the guy her friends have been corresponding with. When she meets Jace she does find him attractive but she lets him know what her friends did. He’s thankful because he just really wanted a “phony” girlfriend to make his ex girlfriend think he’s moved on. Cara and Jace agree to a no sex “phony relationship” to help each other show their ex’s that they have moved on.Having sex off the table allowed them to really get to know each other, it also allowed for some nice build up of sexual tension in the story. As these two spent more and more time together real feelings started coming out. Their banter was a lot of fun and it made the story go by really fast. There was low angst, which was nice. There was also some healing of friendships and some realizations that came to light.Overall a pretty sweet fast paced story with two very likable characters that you are hoping makes the phony pact into a real match.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Every Pot Has A Lid 🍳
Cara's friend's decide that it's time for her to get back out there after a bad breakup six months ago. She walked in on her boyfriend getting serviced by another woman. So, they signed her up for a dating website & have already set Cara up with a guy named Jace for a dinner date.Cara tries to refuse the dinner date but feels a little bad that she could be standing up a nice guy, not just another jerk. She decides to just go and let Jace down in person instead.Jace also isn't really looking for love right now. He has ulterior motives. He needs Cara to pretend to be his girlfriend when he attends his ex-fiancee's wedding. She's marrying his best friend (the guy that used to be his best friend). As Cara and Jace pretend to be a phoney couple things start to become too real. They are already attracted to each other and now they are spending all this time together. At the wedding Jace and Cara both come to a few conclusions about their previous relationships & about the fake relationship they are pretending to have with each other. There is an epilogue.

A Saucy Quick Read
I was a bit unsure about this book, to begin with, as it didn’t follow the same formula as the others in the collaboration. Grace’s matchmaking service ‘What the Heart Wants’ requires the matches she has made to write to one another without any personal details. However, in this book, it was just a regular online dating site, so the magic that Grace offered was lost a bit. However, once I got to know the characters, it was a charming and romantic take on the Matchmaker series. Cara and Jace have both been hurt in the past and aren’t interested in finding love. Cara’s friends set her up on the dating site, and she has to go on a fake date with Jace. She isn’t aware, at first, though, that he doesn’t want to date either.Jace needs a fake date for a wedding. They decide to date beforehand inadvertently to get to know one another, but is this a dangerous game? Will one of both get hurt?I liked that there wasn’t the usual baby at the end cliche. It ended perfectly for the couple that we had gotten to know. So I was delighted with the ending. The typos that I mentioned in ‘Her Sexy Cheerleader’, also written by this author, were still commonplace. However, I did begin to wonder whether some of them were a cultural difference in language use. Many of the times, words are missing, but maybe the author writes as she speaks. It was words like ‘Egad’ and “slid’ instead of ‘slide’ that made me realise it might be Americanisms. So I decided, even though I stumbled over them, to just let them be and not get as annoyed as I had with the previous book.Overall, a great, fast-paced, romantic love story with, of course, the obligatory blush moments.
