I thought I would give this one a whirl. I am really glad I did; it works just fine and I have taken no extra measures to keep it in condition. The bristles seem stiff at first, but they really aren't. Trust me your body is used to getting more abuse than this brush can dish out. While I do live in California and it has been dry this last year I have not had any mildew problems, no unusual smells, and it has held up. Considering I am a (guilty!) water waster, it's taken abuse, I take two showers a day. I waited this long to write the review because I didn't want to steer anyone wrong. Very well made.I'll be frank coming back to this product and seeing that it's received negative reviews has me questioning a lot. I've lately become very skeptical of reviews both negative and positive. There are many products I have purchased that have been absolutely wonderful that have terrible reviews and absolutely terrible products I have purchased that have stellar reviews. So I feel like I need to do my part in this little corner of the world. I finally have to replace the brush I purchase in 2016. It received absolutely no special care other than rinsing it out thoroughly after use and hanging it up. It didn't lose bristles at all. At the time I ordered this brush I ordered another brush that was and currently is rated almost perfect. That particular brush is shedding like crazy. In my opinion it's garbage. So, I am again returning to this brush and purchasing it I will let you know if the quality has been maintained.

I'm not a huge fan of "scrubbers". I've had several over the years. They tend to be either way to soft and not get the job done or way to stiff and wind up doing more harm than good. I received these free to try. Well I love them. The bristles on this are soft and pliable but sturdy enough to exfoliate the skin without the damage. The detachable handle and strap makes it easy to convert from a back scrubber. They appear to be well made and they certainly look nicer than some of the others I have had in the past. I highly recommend this set.

I have used many bath brushes but never one with a long handle. I found that the length of the handle was just the right length for my body. I was able to reach all the spots on my back that needed a massage and removal of dead cells. It felt wonderful and I felt really relaxed and clean after using it I used the loofa on my feet and elbows. I have some rough spots along the front side of my feet and the loofa was very effective in removing the dead skin cells and made my feet feel soft and smooth. I have a tendency to have warts on my elbows. Don't know why, but they are itchy and very annoying. I used the loofa with liquid soap and it is helping to remove the wart. I have only used these items a few time but feel they will help my skin renewal the more I use them. These are wonderful products and I would recommend them to anyone.

3 Reasons to NOT buy this,- it's poorly built. To my surprise, i could not wash due to the head falling off in multiple ways.- The head falls off, literally.. the brush separated from the wood. To my disappointment, it was held on by 4 tiny nails.. (not much longer than a splinter). Secondly, the head falls off the stick if you scrub from top downwards.- I was contacted by this seller with a generic, give me good ratings email... i responded in good manor explaining exactly what I've said here.. I gave them several days to respond to no avail. I guess my business doesn't matter.Bonus: They didn't even send the suction cup to hang it on the wall. So I used the string it was tied with in plastic to hang it from the shower lever.Best thing to do is avoid this seller, their products and continue to enjoy the awesomeness of Amazon.

It's a really nice brush so far. I got it for my back because it's been breaking out lately. It's been clearing up since I started using it. The handle is stuck in there real good so I am leaving it that way after reading reviews saying it doesn't stay in. Some of the bristles came out when I first got it but that wasn't a big deal for me. Will update later as to the durability of it. Love the smaller scrubby too.Update: The bristles are still holding up strong. Sanitizing it in hot water does loosen the handle. I recently discovered that while showering. The brush head fell right off while I was using it. Went back in fine though and hasn't fallen out since.

Bought this 12/31/17. It’s 3/23/18. The brush broke. I was downstairs and heard something fall in the tub. When I came up, the head was in the tub but the handle was still hanging from it’s hook. No kids to use it as a sword, no animals chewing on it. It just fell apart. I liked it for the less than 3 months I’ve had it. But it won’t last long.

All in all a great product to try out dry brushing! I jus started so not sure yet on the rails, but these things take time. I received the product on time and in great condition. It's a firm bristle brush and well-made. Initially I was concerned about the removable head, thinking it would compromise the quality and possible be wiggly, but it isn't! You can use it with or without the handle and it performs beautifully.I highly recommend this brush if you want to try out dry brushing. It's an excellent brush at an excellent price. I'm very happy with my purchase!
