Probably the best...
Prob the best book out there for novices, but this is not good for self-study. I recommend Routledge in conjunction with it. This is for a communicative approach, but that only works in a small-group setting. But being that there aren't many English-Kazakh books out there, I'd say this is your best bet. The Manual of the Kazakh Language is old, but also good. I just very much dislike the format, and it's written for British English speakers, so there are some discrepancies. Colloquial has the most visually appealing and easy-to-navigate setup. The main point of this book, and why you should get it, is it's the only one with an Audio component. Very important.Sincerely,Your sleepy linguist

Five Stars
With the shipping and the book there was no problem. No complaints.

ebook
Ebook does not come with audio, so the book in itself is useless as it does not give latin pronounce and it makes it to hard to learn, as you have to first learn Cyrillic and then you can start learning kazakh

Extortionately expensive.
This is a lot of help with a difficult language. The cost is extortionate for what is just a paperback book!
