It works!
I was skeptical about ordering this. We have huge walnut trees and so lots of walnuts! We use this nut picker fir 20 minutes every other day it’s like vacuuming your yard. I am 73 year lady and this is awesome. We got about 11 yard bags. My husband empties the bin for me. Highly recommend well worth the investment! It’s lightweight and durable. I love it been dealing with walnuts for 20 years and finally find a product we can count on.Thank you!

A+ Walnut picker upper
While a bit pricey the Walnut picker upper effectively picks up black walnuts (In PA the first ones are just starting to drop) and golf balls hassle free at 5 times the speed of manual methods using a rake or gloves and a bucket. I ordered the small size, but it comes with a conversion kit for the larger diameter nuts. As a former plastics engineer I can say that the parts are molded very well and produced with craftmanship and elagance. I look forward to my neighbors saying "how can I get one of those" for many years to come!

Idea is great, but could use a few improvements
I have a LOT of oak trees in my backyard and a small 10 lb. dog who gets the acorn pieces caught in his paws when running around back there. Thus, I decided to try this contraption rather than try and keep raking and bending and picking up the acorns myself. It works okay picking up the whole acorns, but I wish it could pick up more of the acorn pieces. The squirrels break the acorns apart almost as fast as they fall, so sharp pieces are all over the back lawn and the Bag-a-Nut just does a fair job. So, if you are able to get out there before the squirrels and use this contraption, then it will work pretty well. It DEFINITELY beats trying to rake and pick the acorns up by hand. The other drawback is the price. It is quite expensive, and really does not look like it cost hardly anything to actually produce. It is mostly plastic. I guess it just depends on how hard you want to work and how much you are willing to spend!

Amazing!
The media could not be loaded. Amazing is all I can say! This item has saved me so much time and work. It's a little pricey, but it is well worth the money spent. I highly recommend this product!

A great Father's Day gift. Your children will even love it!
When I first showed my husband the Bag-A-Nut, on UTube, he thought it was a joke! I ordered it for him for Father's Day and after quickly picking up a yard full of pine cones, he now wish he had it a long time ago.

clogs up way too often with leaves and sticks!
I really wanted this product to work as we have 70 black walnut trees. For 3 years I have tried to make it work but even with extensive mowing and raking before the nuts start falling it still fails to save me time and work.First, I tried it with the pull-behind handlebar. With that method, the wheels of the atv or lawn mower smashed many of the nuts into the soil which prevented pickup, and the unavoidable leaves and small sticks kept clogging the machine requiring frequent cleaning and the hulling station didn't like all the trash mixed in with the walnuts. Then I purchased the push handlebar and tried walking behind. This works a little better but still picks up lots of leaves and sticks requiring cleaning out with just a half basketful. It also misses several nuts with each pass and since you can't back up, you have to make 2 passes. We have 2 walnut wizards and always revert to using them. No trash and better pickup and less bending over.I would like to sell the bag a nut machine for less than half of what I paid for it. It is the double wide and includes both the push and the pull handlebars.
