Tough to put together
Hell to put together. I hope it is better at spreading fertilizer.

Good customer service
Received spreader on time. Assembled spreader and found one of the tires flat and would not hold air. E-mailed Agri Fab three times with no reply so called them and they were very quick about sending me a new wheel assembly at no cost and very happy with spreader. Good customer service! Thank You.

Not fabricated correctly
The frame holding the hopper is bent on the wrong angle. I had to shim it on the front side to prevent the flow cable and the frame from hitting the flinger/spinner. Once fixed, it worked very well. Not recommended for large seed like buckwheat.

Punish the Engineer who designed this POS.
The directions are useless. There are suppose to be right and left parts. I got all lefts. After going by directions and would not work I put together myself. The cross bar the you put axle to for the wheels is too wide or goes to different model. I don't want to think .they actually thought it would work. If I hadn't already thrown box awa g it would have gone back. I bought for price only. Boy did I pay for it. I spent at least 30 hours trying to put together their way. Fially did it my way and even had to drill another hole to mount brace to tub. Even had to finish drilling holes on hitch. This is a true POS.

Design flaw prevents it from working.
I assembled it correctly despite missing a washer. The spreader wheel bumps into the bracket where the control cable attaches to the spreader window to allow fertilizer to fall out. So when the spreader wheel gets stuck on the bracket, the wheel axle won't turn. Horrible desing. I'm going to try & modify it to work by adding spacers between the frame & hopper but if that doesn't work, I'm returning it.

Not bad.
First thing, check all of the parts are present before starting to build! First one delivered had a missing vital component. Second arrived today, couple of caps and bolts missing but I had some bolts that did the job so I managed to get it built.Tows behind a quad pretty well. Easy enough to vary the flow of fertiliser depending on required coverage. I’m sure that I’ll work out the correct setting for my ground eventually. It’s fine on flat ground, a bit tippy on a slight slope. Once full of fertiliser, it’s top heavy. If you have a large lawn or the odd acre that needs feed once a year, this will do you nicely. It’s not going to stand up to much more use than that. As for gritting.......I’m not convinced.

Good accessory for ride-on mower.
Another excellent Agri-Fab accessory for your ride-on mower, especially for fertiliser on larger gardens.Lightweight construction makes it a bit top heavy on uneven ground, I kept thinking it was going to tip over. Also, be aware that some fertilizers can be highly corrosive and will attack the nuts, bolts and other untreated metal in the mechanism. Give it a good hose down after use.

Good spreader for larger lawns
Easy to assemble and fairly simple instructions. Fit and finish of components could be better, filing required on the hopper guides and sliding plate to make it move smoothly and cable outer and ferrule had to be crimped to stop them coming apart when operating the lever. After ironing these minor issues it worked really well and is easy to clean afterwards.

Does not work with quad as it does not disperse
Arrived promptly and well packaged. The instructions are not that good and not all parts fitted well. When pulling with the quad it did not disperse the seeds so overall I am not very impressed

Not fit for purpose
Purchased this is it said it could be used as a salt spreader. It cannot. The hole is too small for the salt grit to fall through, it just clumps up and goes nowhere. Also the wheels are too small and slick so just slide in the snow and won’t spin the spreader. Total waste of money and is now in the bin
