Loved it!
I don't know what it is about Enid Blyton's books, but I read them whenever I need a breather in between 2 'grown-up' books. I especially like the Barney series. Unfortunately, we did not get the Barney books during our childhood. (It was mostly Famous 5 or Find Outers.) So, I'm catching up and enjoying the Barney books now after almost 40 years. This book introduces us to the kids accompanied by Barney and Miranda the monkey. Though it is hard to believe the story in a few places, esp. Barney's vagabond life, the book is enjoyable nevertheless.

Value for money
Very interesting from beginning to end ! Not a bit boring or irrelevant, that is why I prefer Enid Blyton read.
