18" x 2000' Wrap PVC Film Roll with Cutter Box

As a home "chef" I'm very happy with it. A roll has lasted me almost 4 years, box & cutter have held up as well! Here because I'm buying another one.

This wrap is great. Extra wide and heavier than the ones at the grocery store. I buy meat in bulk and then wrap it in meal size portions. I also use it when storing left overs. For wrapping meat the 18 inch width is great. Steaks are usually 8 inches wide so the 12 inch wide plastic wrap does not allow enough over lap. I double wrap the meat, force out any air and it lasts as long as any vacuum bags. Chicken legs and thighs used to be a pain. They would slip out of the 12 inch wrap but with the extra 6 inches they are no problem. I have a open kitchen island and I store the Reynolds on a bottom shelf. When putting away left overs, I pull out enough to cover the top, sides and bottom of the storage bowl. This wrap clings very nicely. I don't have to hunt for bowl covers. It is very easy to cover the bowls and the extra strength makes stacking in the frig a breeze. The cut off blade is a little clumsy but some packing plastic tape fixed the cutter. My only other complaint is that I did not find this plastic wrap years ago.

If you're looking for thicker stretch wrap with less static, this is the one. If it were any thicker, it wouldn't cling as well, so it's a great compromise on cling and static frustrations. Food should last a little longer in the freezer with this one.

The quality is amazing, however, I wish it also came with a slide cutter as well. In addition to the serrated metal cutter which is very sharp.

I have a counter top despenser for the roll and buy replacement plastic from amazon. Wrap all my salmon and steelhead I catch as well as everthing e;se.

I love the size of the roll and the width of the film. Good for any job requiring cling wrap. I use it a lot to cover plates of food and it's wide enough to handle any of them.

I finished a box of this 10 years ago and it was great. Then I had a 3000 ft roll of Costco's brand and that was pretty good. Now a new roll of Reynolds and wow, I'd forgotten how clingy and sticky and stretchy this stuff is.I don't understand the negative reviews. This version of Reynolds Wrap makes Saran Wrap and grocery store versions look like you have cut up a Glad fold lock top sandwich bag up to do the job. Or tried the same with a used bread bag.

Almost every time I pull the film it tears at the edges and pulls the tear line into the center of the roll. It happens at both ends. Once this happens, I have to remove the film from the box, unravel it to the point where it started tearing and cut off the torn piece. It makes this product unusable. Very poor quality from a firm like Reynold's. On a positive note, the film sticks exceptionally well to glass or glazed chinaware. I cannot recommend this product.
