I unpacked this last night and stuck the ice pack in the freezer for today, never bothered looking at the sleeve. Got home today opened up the sleeve and just like Claudia there's some strange spots all over the straps, dirt or mould looking stuff, so I have the ice pack on my knee wrapped in a towel and the sleeve is in the wash. The ice pack bit works fine, once the sleeve is laundered I'm sure that will work too.

I bought another gel pack to use with a knee support with Velcro straps but unfortunately I left them at my daughter’s when visiting. So as a back up I bought this model which was cheaper @£13.99 & had the large Velcro straps built into the wrap. I used the wrap & gel pack on my knee and was impressed at the fit and how long the gel pack remained cold. The pack stayed cold for over an hour and allowed my to turn the gel pack & move the wrap to the back of my knee. Really impressed so far a very good VFM

it is not as effective as a heat pack.

This is a great product! I use it as an ice pack for my leg and the cover with elastic straps are perfect for placing the pack - and keeping it in place. I have also used it for my back. Very practical and well made.

I used this product for knee and leg pain but is so versatile it could be used anywhere. Also doesn't freeze solid like other icepacks
