Works great had to buy a second one shortly after having this current one because it broke but definitely a great buy for the clawfoot tub

I got this to replace a leaking stem on an older identical faucet - to replace the stems alone would have cost 3/4 the price of a new unit, so I replaced the whole thing. The installation was a breeze, all in it took about 20 minutes and just needed an adjustable wrench and teflon tape. The flow control on this unit is not very fine, you need to crank open the valves - just getting a trickle at the right temperature takes some work. The price on this is great though, so it's not a big deal. It does seem wasteful to treat the whole faucet as a consumable unit, but the weird stems it uses force you to go through an obscure repair part house and it's just not worth it to repair.

I bought this to replace the faucet for a shower conversation kit. Worked perfectly! This part was weighed more and seems to be better quality than the original.

I needed to replace the bathtub faucet due to not being able to use the shower head I was still able to take baths but not showers. It is built out of metal, and it feels really tough, so I believe that it will last a long time. It wasn't too hard to change it, but it was tricky due to how it was positioned in the house, but I got it in.

Good and solid enough. I've found that once the diverter washer wears out replacements are not available. But at this price that's not too much of a worry.

The hole to attach a shower is not standardized. After having been all over town trying to find some way to join this to my existing shower, I'm going to have buy new taps instead and throw these in the bin. I'm guessing they make them like this so that you have to buy their shower attachment too. I really wish they would state that clearly though as now I can't even take a shower ! * update : I was able to attach to my shower after receiving this and am satisfied with the quality of the taps. I seen exactly the same thing in store for 4x the price. This is a fantastic direct replacement for an OEM claw tub faucet. It is a perfect fit and installation is very easy. Everything fits tightly, there are no leaks and it operates very well. Excellent value!
