Héroes del Silencio is one of the best rock bands from Spain ever. They had a relative short career, just four studio albums issued in the late 80s - early 90s. Nonetheless, they are now considered one of the pillars of Spanish Rock, while his leader and vocalist Enrique Bunbury is still a very popular musician with an international following. Senderos de Traición is without any doubt their best work. Great rock album, sophisticated and powerful, original and innovative. Great vocals and guitar riffs. A jewel to include in any record collection. One additional point: the latest edition of this album includes both a vinyl and a CD at a very affordable price.

From some of the reviews I read I was expecting they guys to have a hard rock sound but they actually just sound like a regular rock band, which isn't bad. Even though the music isn't very heavy or fast it is still pretty good and moving at times. The guitars are the only istruments that stick out while the drumming and bass sound average but still good. However the best thing is the singers voice which is just amazing. It is full of power and passion and you can really feel what he's singing about and believe it. You can't help but be sucked into the songs when you hear his voice whether or not you speak spanish. Truthfully I don't think that I would even really listen to this cd that much if it wasn't for the singer.If you want some good ol' rock 'n' roll with passion then you should get this cd even if you don't understand spanish because you'll still like it regardless.

This is one of the greatest albums of this Rock band. A master piece might be said. Sound is perfect.

…. but not with this album. It is a master FIRST proper album. 3 or four CLASSIC songs, including maybe the BEST of their whole catalogue of songs in "MALDITO DUENDE". But still finding their style to their later harder rock.

The best album these guys ever made! A solid Classic Hard Rock sound with some serious lyrical composition (if understand spanish of course) and absolutely masterful skill on the vocals.

Ricordo ancora la loro partecipazione al Festivalbar 92'! Album che mi riporta indietro nel tempo, da avere assolutamente. La prima edizione era EMI, questa ristampa è Parlophone. Il vinile a mio parere si sente molto bene e credo non faccia rimpiangere per nulla l'edizione originale. Inclusa anche la versione CD in una bustina di plastica trasparente. Ecco, qui con il cd si poteva fare meglio. Bruttino a vedersi.

Was ist doch Zeit ins Land gegangen, seit die Platte das Licht der Welt erblickte. Die Welt war eine andere und die Stücke dieses Albums führen einen emotional zurück in die frühen 90er. Bis heute sind die Songs kein Stück gealtert. Die Musik ist zeitlos und unerreicht bis zum heutigen Tag. Sicher Musik für Menschen deren Aufmerksamkeitsspanne die einer Fruchtfliege übersteigt. Wahrscheinlich auch aus diesem Grund, sucht man vergleichbares dieser Tage vergeblich. Gott sei Dank ist diese Platte jedes Mal so gut wie beim ersten Hören. Ein Meisterwerk.
