Strong metal, efficient usage
Works perfectly. I've rode BMX for ages and we experience catastrophic failures of our chains. Therefore, having a chain breaker keeps you from having to go home when your chain snaps under pressure. Just remove a broken link and reattach. This particular tool seems like it can endure my strength and I'll be able to use it without breaking it. Most seasoned veteran bikers know the cheap chainbreakers are easily destroyed when anyone strong uses them. The price is nice for the durability. Includes a thicker pin pusher for bigger chains, perhaps for motorcycles chains.

Very sturdy. I could see this as a shop tool.
Very good quality and breaking a chain link was super easy, even on my Campagnolo 9 speed chain.

Worked well.
Great tool! Was able to push the pin out of the chain with no problem. Needed to clean and lubricant my bike chain and this Universal Bike Chain By Qumers did the job. You have to be careful and align the push pin up with the pin on your chain in order for it to work properly. It’s not a heavy duty pin pusher but it works well if you’re paying attention to the alignment of the pins. The chain holder works great as well.

Actually not junk
I usually buy Park tools but was significantly cheaper and I didn't really need a garage chain breaker as I have one built into my multi tool and have various other ways to break at chain in the garage. The quality of this tool is ok, not the cheapest of cheapest buy certainly nowhere near a Park tools. I like that the barrel adjuster allows you to hold any size chain tightly and ensures that the pin is pushed through while supporting the outer link and not just spreading the outer links apart. The tool comes with a spare pin and a chain holder for easy master link removal or installation

Got the job done! Durability is a question and better instructions would be nice for first timers
I needed to shorten a new chain and wanted to try myself vs. taking my bike to a shop. This tool did the trick for me, but it wasn't all easy. I'm not an expert bike mechanic, so maybe I just need some practice, but a couple of key takeaways from my use (that may be me, may be the tool, or may just be the way it goes) ... - I saw enough videos that explained NOT to push the pin all the way out of the final outer link (to make it easier to push the pin back in again afterwards). Since you can't see the pin coming out, it was difficult to tell how far to keep turning. The first time, the pin came out completely. No complete obstacle in the end, it just made it harder to get the chain back together after removing the links. - I noticed after removing the first pin that the metal "guides" on the device had actually bent due to the force of driving the pin out. I was careful to try and center the pin pusher and so I don't believe I was ever just pushing the whole link, but I was surprised to see the metal bend. Luckily, that softness also meant it was easy to bend back using a flat head screwdriver, but overall I would expect this part of the device to be heat treated for strength vs. flexibility. - The (minimal) instructions show you how to break the chain, but not to re-join it. Again, the internet abounds with tutorials, but it was a little tricky (especially since I had to try and get the pin to hold in after it had come completely out in step 1!). It got the job done, and I think next time I would have a slightly easier time, but the softness of the metal and lack of instructions cause me to not give it a to rating.

Works well
Works well. I like that it has an extra punch bit thing for when you inevitably break it and it has a hex head built in to change it easily.

Comfortable & Easy To Use Bike Chain Tool
Oumers Universal Bike Chain Tool is an easy to use, comfortable & inexpensive bike tool that would be a good addition to anyone’s bike toolkit. It’s built well enough to use in your home bike shop, small enough to through into a trailhead toolkit, but too big for you to want to take it out on the trail w/you. The chain tool has a comfortable plastic coated handle, which aids in securely gripping it while easily removing pins from 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 speed bicycle chains. It comes w/a chain hook which aides in holding the chain together while inserting a new chain pin into the chain. The tool also comes w/an extra pin for the tool, which is stored in the handle of the tool. If you’ve never used a chain tool to “break” a chain, no need to worry, Oumer has included a colorful & simple to follow instructions card w/the tool. Be sure to give it a read. When I used the chain tool, I was able to comfortably & effortlessly turn the large plastic knob, easily removing the chain pin. The overall feel of the tool after using it to break & insert a new pin in my chain, is that it’s a pretty good value for the price. I’m sure I’ll get plenty of use out of the Oumers Universal Bike Chain Tool. However, this is most likely not a tool that will last 20+ years. For that, you’d be looking to spend 3x the money. If you need a bicycle chain tool, Oumers Universal Bike Chain Tool is definitely an inexpensive, easy to use & all around good value option. There are definitely worse options out there. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.
