Solid, works well, looks nice and lasts!
I admit I'm already resigned most times to expect "good enough," but it's always a treat when receiving something I paid good money for and thinking, "Wow, this is NICE!" This portafilter is one of those pleasant surprises. Don't know how it will hold up over a long time, but as other reviewers say, the form and finish on the wood and metal looks terrific and it certainly appears well constructed. I feel like I got my money's worth.Update: Have been using it for a week and am happy with it. Definitely helpful and affirming to see good flow through the puck so I know to adjust elsewhere to correct my lousy shots!Another update - it's been close to a year and this is still great. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.Update 3 years after purchase, Sept 2023. Still great. Used most every day. I have to admit though, the reviews about it have to be rotated a bit more to be fully seated are true - I guess I just never thought about it. Also, I have seen the rotating/loosening under pressure, but only when I used too fine a grind or packed it so tight that nothing was really coming out, so imagine the pressure on it was way higher than normal. My wood handle has darkened a bit, but IMO still looks great, but I amost always just rinse/wash the cup, not the wood. And I may have rebent the spring back in the day to make the cup hold tighter, but I'm an engineer who hasn't seen anything that couldn't be "hacked" a bit to improve it. So bottom line as with all long-produced items I can't pass full judgement on what's "coming off the line" recently, just my years-ago purchase. Nothing's perfect, but I still feel this is probably a much more than decent product for the money.

Excellent Value
At the time of writing I have pulled roughly 20 shots with this portafilter on a Barista Pro. Build quality overall is very good for the price. My unit came with the handle loose like many others have noted, however after hand tightening once right out of the box I haven't had any issues. The included basket is on par with the stock Breville basket. Fits snug in the machine, I am not having to rotate past normal locking position. All in all this is a good product for the money and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bottomless pf for their BB machine.

Great accessory for the Battista express!!
I love using this to be able to really see how my espresso is coming outs the only two things I don’t like is the dosing cup does not sit as tight in this one as it does in the one that comes with the machine and the handle gets really loose real easy but I feel if I put some Loctite on there that will take care of that problem. I would buy again.

It works well with Sage Barista Express and looks better than the factory one
Beautifully made with a nice polished chrome finish. It fits the basket well too. I enjoy using it more than the factory one.

Fantastic product!!
Fantastic product! High quality, feels solid and looks beautiful! It fits my Breville barista express perfectly! Wood Handle is smooth and the Wood Grain looks beautiful. The metal parts can unscrew from the handle and the original filter basket fits perfectly. 100% recommended this product!!

Looks good but not secure
Doesn't lock securely into the machine. The tabs on this portafilter are slimmer than the OEM breville tabs, so you have to twist the handle beyond the typical 90-degree position to get it locked securely in place. If not, under pressure from brewing, the entire portafilter can start to twist itself out and if left unattended for a few seconds can actually come entirely out, spewing hot water and grounds all over and dropping the portafilter onto your mug. Also the spring that holds the filter basket it place isn't as secure as the breville original. Lots of times the basket has come out in the trash when I go to tap my grounds out.

Port quality handle on portafilter.
The wooden handle is poor quality. Doesn’t seem to be treated. After one wash feels rough. Also unscrews very easily.

Fits and functions well, just missing the final finish
Fits perfectly into my Barista Express and has certainly helped me troubleshoot my inconsistent extractions. Knocking a couple of stars off because of the poor finishing of the wood handle. While it has a nice grain and color to it, mine came poorly sanded, dull, and completely unfinished. Any splashes of water quickly soaked in and threatened to stain. But it didn't make sense for me to send it back since I have the supplies to correct it. I gave it a quick sanding and finished it with tung oil—which is food-safe and water resistant—for anyone who has the same experience.

Defecto estetico
El producto esta muy bien construido y la madera muy bonita, sin embargo, tiene un defecto el cual fue reparado y por lo que se pagó nunca debió de llegar como producto final

Fits my espresso machine.
Quality is good. Because the handle made from natural wood, I would recommend to coat it with a bit of olive oil once in a while. This will give the handle smooth feel , deep wood look and long lasting. It fits my Breville espresso pro. Don’t forget to have a good shot of espresso, you need to consider other factors. I got fantastic shot from it. Do I recommend it ? Definitely

Nice hefty portafilter
For the price this is very decent. Heavy and feels quite sturdy. I don't know about the stainless steel claim, it seems like a mix of steel and some other metal to me. Magnets stick to it so I guess it's metal and not plastic! It fits my Sage Bambino nicely, however you do need a tiny bit of force to get it locked all the way in as it seems the ears are thicker than the standard Sage portafilter ears and different in shape as well. (left is factory PF and right is this PF)Fits all standard Bambino baskets like they were made for it, so I was pleasantly surprised by this. Will see if it fits IMS ones too.The only slightly annoying bit is the handle keeps unscrewing, but it's nothing a bit of gorilla glue can't rectify.Overall very good for the price. Recommend for beginners ot until you decide to fork out some more money for a Normcore one lolPS: Don't believe people who write that coffee splatters with this PF - it doesn't. They're just bad at tamping ;)

Buenos materiales, no embona bien

Fits bambino + IMS basket
Good weight to the handle, have used it with an IMS basket and in my sage/ breville bambino. It’s heavier and longer portafilter than the original but that’s all positives.Fits really tight in the bambino, is a struggle to get it in sometimes and am a little worried about the plastic on the bambino but had no leaks etc. I’ve ordered a few from Amazon and have had to send them back as they were loose/ didn’t work, in my eyes this being a little tight/ stiff is better. Pulled some great shots with it and really helped utilise the machine properly- would recommend with an IMS basket for anyone with a bambino machine
