A good quality filter for a good price that fits my industry-standard 16x25x4 filter housing perfectly. It appears that a lot of reviewers are disappointed that these are slightly smaller than the stated size, which it would have to be to fit into a housing that is 16x25x4.Where the negative reviews come from is people who bought proprietary (non-standard) Honeywell filter housings, which are intentionally a bit oversized to keep you from buying filters like these made by other manufacturers. In short, blame Honeywell, or blame yourself, but don't blame these filters for not fitting your proprietary housing.

For the price of one filter that I could maybe find at a big box store, I can get two of these delivered to my door, and they work perfectly. Doesn't get better.After getting a new furnace with a thick filter size I learned the hard way that nominal sizes on these filters mean nothing. I first ordered a different brand filter the correct nominal size from Amazon that I found was too large for my furnace, so I went back to Amazon with the actual dimensions of my original filter and found these. They arrived in a heavy Nordic Pure box in much better condition than the other brand filter I ordered earlier that came in a flimsy Amazon box. They fit perfectly, seem just as well made as the others and run smoothly in my furnace.Problem solved. I'll keep ordering these as long as they are available.

Had I read enough about these filters I would have realized they are actually smaller than the standard size. The specs in the descriptions to indicate this although the primary description does not. When I look for 16" x 25" x 4" that was what I expected to receive. Also had to go to the NordicPure website to verify the MERV rating as it in not indicated on the filter in any manner. (It is color coded and in fact I did receive the MERV 12 that I expected).The smaller filter size allows for airflow around the filter. In our home it is paramount to reduce the amount of dust and particulates. My way around this was to install standard weatherstripping foam to the long sides of the filter. It definitely helped with the fit in our Trion Air Bear furnace.Time will tell on the performance of the filters. I, however, will not be buying them again. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

I like the filters for the price, at first was not sure I got what I paid for, filters do not have any marking saying what they are, Merv 8 or Merv 12 Ect. Then I went to the web site and found they have color coded print. So very pleased.

Furnaces that are designed to accept this size filter will easily accommodate this filter, but that's because it's about a quarter inch too thin. This creates a ton of problems - the filter is pushed up by the airflow because of this gap and air can work its way around it - this sometimes creates a whistling noise. More annoying though is that the filter falls back into place when the furnace is off, and makes a loud thud onto the metal.Honeywell's filters are a few bucks more at the local big box store - they are MERV 8 but frankly that's fine for most folks. Those fit nice and snug. Do yourself a favor and just buy those instead of the NordicPure.

Photo online show filters labeled with NordicPure sticker & Merv level clearly marked. What I got were 2 generic filters. Right size. But no brand name. No Merv rating on the filter whatsoever. NOT PLEASED.

My previous order of these filters were 15-1/2-Inch by 24-1/2-Inch by 3-5/8-Inch and they fit my Trane heat pump. The replacements I just ordered (same item number) are now 15-1/2-Inch by 24-1/2-Inch by 3-3/4-Inch, and it is a very tight squeeze to get them in. I had to bend the guide rails to install them. You must have the removal plate or you'll never get them out!! If you have a Trane unit look out!

I have never had to validate the exact physical dimensions of a furnace filter before. When I buy one that my furnace requires (16 x 25 x 4) I expect this to be the same size as the one I pulled out. So imagine my surprise that it says the same as the Honeywell filter I take out, but in every dimension that matters it is smaller.There is a reason these filters are the size that they are. If I could get away with buying one that was an inch smaller and perform the same, then why wouldn’t they be designed an inch smaller from the start (and be labelled 16 x 25 x 3)?

Dont let the "Nordic Pure" branding fool you - these are *identical* to all of the other white label filters available here and in the big box stores. There is nothing on the filter to indicate its MERV rating, nor does it say if it was made in the USA, Canada, or elsewhere. I got a good price on this 2 pack as an open box warehouse deal, but otherwise, there is nothing special about these filters.

Came on time. No label stated it's from Nordic Pure on the fliter. No label stated made in USA or any country. You do not know where this product is made or who own it. The funny part, the delivery box just has Nordic Pure flyer.If this is generic brand, you can get it way cheaper.I don't remmond it based on what I got in my hands.

Worked well for me. Will probably order again when I need more. I know from reading reviews that some folks are after precise measurements, so I can tell you that these are 15.5" x 24 5/8" x 3 5/8"... Nevertheless, I suspect that filters are like buying lumber where the actual dimensions are slightly smaller than advertised... These filters are the same dimensions as all the other 16x25x4 filters I've bought.

Nowhere on packaging does it show that it’s a Merv12 and not as shown on Amazon listing. No item number anywhere so not sure what I’ve really bought!
