HEA
Finally! That elusive HEA! Lol. It was quite the journey for our main characters. I didn’t love the beginning of the story, but that’s because it hit a little too close to home for me personally. I also HATE time jumps with a passion, but I’m grateful the author usually reunites them quickly. And I can appreciate the fact that Annie and Tyler both needed time to figure out what they really wanted and to spend time working toward their goals. It made it all the more satisfying when they finally got together. I was happy to see Annie and Jax work things out as well.

Dreams come True
Annie and Tyler go their separate ways after the terrible attack. She didn't want him to feel like she was holding him back or to blame her for Anything.I loved the persistence that Annie shows even after her father cuts her off for her education. She knew what she wanted and she went for it, she also loved Tyler enough to let him go. They both made successes of themselves over the two years apart and both have grown up.I love that they still have feelings for each other, but try to hide them. I also love Haley for intervening with Annie and her father Jax, by inviting Annie to her father's opening off his new label.Annie thought it was her father making amends by sending the invite. Instead it was Haley trying to mend the fences before she had the new baby. A lot of good came out of this too. Tyler and Annie saw each other again, reconnected. Annie spent time with her family again and finished her show. She also had a chance to learn more from her dad. It might not have been what she wanted to hear, but eventually they did reconnect emotionally.I loved the different lessons that this story had. Let go of what you love if it's hurting, if it's meant to be it will be. That a father's love is always there even if you aren't aware of it. Parents Support us no matter what. There was a lot that went unsaid, that parents will do a lot to protect their children from getting hurt.

4.5 stars Highly recommend this series, a must read angsty romance
A Love Song for Dreamers is the third and last book in the Rivals series. Annie and Tyler have come a long, long way since high school and after that cliffhanger at the end of the second book, that almost killed me, I was counting the days until I could read the final book in their journey. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I loved it. There is a lot going on in this book, Annie and Tyler are dealing with the aftermath of the event that happened in the end of the second book. It's painful, it's very emotional and both of them are struggling in very different ways with their own feelings. Their lives irrevocably changed and they can't go back to what things were. So, where does that leaves Tyler's future and their relationship? I can't say much about how the story progressed but I can say that I really loved this book. I wasn't expecting to love this series so much.In my opinion this is not a typical rockstar romance. It's not about shows or fans or jealousy or drama for the sake of drama, it's about following your dreams even though sometimes you might have to let someone you love go, it's about talent and hard work and realizing along the way your dreams may shift, it's about true love for music, songwriting, performing, acting, etc. It's about putting yourself out there even though sometimes it feels like nobody believes in you, not even yourself. I really loved the fact that this series is so different from what we usually get in rockstar romances. The characters are the real stars of this book, Tyler and Annie are flawed and truly amazing and their character growth is so well done. Their relationship isn't perfect but the powerful love they have for each other really shines through their story and their chemistry is breathtaking. I was worried when it seemed like their relationship was going on a different direction, I kept thinking these characters deserved so much more, in fact they deserved everything, but I was SO pleasantly surprised when the author proved me wrong and wrapped everything beautifully. I'm so happy with the final events of their story and how much sense everything made. There was a detail that made me adjust my rating: the time jump. I think it should have been inserted a little later in the story, I wanted a little more before the gap but like I said it's just a detail.I'm sad to say goodbye to Tyler and Annie, I highly recommend this series and I'm wishing for Harry's story and hoping to get a little more time with Tyler and Annie as supporting characters.

A Love Song For Dreamers 3of4books Rivals Series Annie and Tyler Box of Kleenex Needed
A Love Song For Dreamers mentions on the product page that fate is going to bring Tyler Adams to his knees and Piper Lawson is a very good author with putting her readers through emotional roller coasters with her characters issues. I had read 6 of her books before this one and the only thing I will say is I was forced to put the book down grab a box of Kleenex. As it had me doing the whole ugly cry not once but twice. That's not typically my thing . I am a more throw the paperback at the wall kind if I am stirred up by characters or authors it's in disgust and annoyance. (Yes Jax Jamieson your a threat to paperbacks and wall paint) -LolThis book begins the same night that Rebels ends and spans a couple of years where we share bad times, depressing times, and then probably one of my favorite ends of a trilogy. If you liked Annie and Tyler story through any of the books they appear. Then I believe you will like the ending As they are well on their way to a HEA with one book left to read. I would highly recommend this book.8\24 Update: I have decided to say that book 4 was so bad in my view that I will never read anymore of this author's work and regret having purchased any of her books as I don't support abuse physical mental or emotional. (Even if it's just a book.)

The perfect conclusion for Annie and Tyler
Damn you guys! There aren’t really many words for this one it was an amazing ride piper Lawson has a way of breaking your heart and then fixing it in the same sentence. This is the perfect conclusion for Tyler and Annie, this one picks up in the days and weeks after that shocking cliffhanger from book two. It’s emotional it’s full of these two people realising things that they haven’t in the past and it’s sooo gripping I lost sleep finishing it 🙈 it’s great to have and achieve your dreams but it’s even better when you take those dreams and achieve them with the ones you love around you. I’m so glad that a couple of the characters that were struggling to get along fix their issues with each other. I’m sad to be leaving the wicked world for now but 🤞🤞 we will be back with Becks story or the mystery guy from the ends story.

Overall great writing style
Overall I've really enjoyed these books, and the previous series that followed the love story and careers of Jax and Haley. The storyline is attention grabbing, wwhich brought out a wide range of emotions, from laughter to tears, whilst reading, and the author's writing style is one of the best I've read recently.I hated to have to score this 4* instead of 5, but this current series with Tyler and Annie had quite a few small inconsistencies. As an example (and minimal spoiler) a kitchen scene in book 3 that describes Sophie finishing her breakfast also repeats in a different sentence on the following page. The most glaring error though is an inconsistency of the main storyline from book one, that has been changed in books 2 & 3, and one of the main characters in Annie's life has just disappeared without explanation.Whilst trying not to give away spoilers, it has to do with Annie's early childhood, and Jax's knowledge of her.It is a shame that such errors in an otherwise fantastic series have been overlooked, but I would hope future books will be proofed and edited much more thoroughly as this authors work overall is exceptional.

👏👏👏👏👏❤
Loved this series. I've read each book in one sitting. Lockdown has been good for freeing up time to read, if nothing else.. Tyler and Annie, ❤💔❤, they certainly went through it, so emotional and I thought they may not make it. Great escapism, I'm going to miss all these characters. From the Wicked series through to Rivals, full of everything to make a great read. Rock stars, forbidden love, years apart to build up the angst. Perfect!Hopefully, we'll get more involving this crowd, maybe Harry, Tyler's friend, who we've heard about. Fingers crossed

Perfect
What an absolutely perfect ending. These two just couldn't catch a break. Their love though, endless, even when they thought it wasn't. I don't know how else to say that I loved their journey. This is just one quote I loved:“I keep feeling,” she starts, swiping at her face, “like it’s not our time. Like I’ve been waiting for years and I only get glimpses of it, and we have to fight for every single moment. I just want it to be our time, Tyler. Just once, I want today to be our day.”

Good but I feel it could of been better.
Felt like some details were missing from the story, such as her aunt that brought her up for most of her childhood and she thought that she was her mother. It was odd that there was no mention of her whatsoever also her natural mother that part also felt rather underdone and just left me wanting more facts about both of these characters. On the whole it was a nice conclusion to the series but overall I'm left wanting more.
