Aquatics Frameless Mask for Scuba Diving and Snorkeling, Clear, Medium Fit

This mask will change your life if it fits your face. The field of view is incredible compared to conventional frame-masks. My wife has two of these in size small. I am filled with jealousy every time I see her diving in it. However, to accomplish the incredible field of vision the mask skirt is short and the lens is very close to your face. This makes the fit less forgiving than traditional masks. I tried several brands of frameless masks and they all leaked at my temples because they are a little too wide for my face. I can wear any standard frame mask with no problem, so I was very disappointed this mask did not fit. I found I had to wear it too tight to stop the leaks, and this eventually causes discomfort. My advice is to buy this mask and wear it in your bathtub without the mask strap. A properly fitting mask does not require a mask strap. However, if the mask leaks with this test, dry it off with a towel to remove any water spots before returning it. There is an idiotic return policy that will not take back a mask that has been worn in the water. The problem here is that dry-fitting a mask is not always reliable.

I have yet to get in water with this to check out whether it leaks or fogs, but trying it on dry it is a very good fit. The silicone is nice and soft and I can tell that the low profile is going to be very nice for clearing. I have no complaints (of course without actually using it) about the mask. What I do have a problem with is the case that it came with has a broken latch. The case has a latch on each side and one of the front. Yes, the case is still useful even with one broken latch; however, paying this much for a mask I would expect the case to at least come undamaged. Very disappointed in the quality of the case!

I loved the fact that this mask opened my eyes to the underwater world. It was crystal clear and colors of the coral were so much more vibrant as well as the field of vision being great. There are 2 problems with this mask for me and it may be just because of the shape of my face. The nose piece is a strange shape and makes it very hard to pinch your nose to equalize. I have a small nose, but I don't have this issue with other masks. Also the shape doesn't fit very well around my nose so the nose piece was always filling with water. Very uncomfortable for longer dives and I was clearing it every 5 minutes. Still I put up with it to have the amazing clarity that this mask offers.

I was reluctant to buy this mask online because I knew I couldn't return it if I tested it in the water. I decided to take a chance as I was hoping this would be the best mask ever, but I was sorely disappointed. When the mask arrived, I checked the mask to see if it fit my face. I followed the prescribed instructions from my local dive store for a proper fitting. It had a good suction to my face when breathing in slightly. The mask appeared to fit my face nicely (above water). I was so excited. I decided to keep the mask and take it with me on my next snorkel adventure. Unfortunately, as soon as I placed my face in the water, the mask leaked. I still can't figure out what the problem is as it still feels like the mask has good suction in the water. There must be a leak somewhere though. Because I used the mask, I can't send it back. I am so frustrated I spent this much money on the mask and can't return it. I would not recommend this mask without the option for return after trying it out in the water. Lesson learned!

I love this mask, but it doesn't fit my face. Great build quality and I love the design, but it doesn't seal on my face and ended up leaking for me. Too bad - it's a really nice mask.

This is the second mask like this I've had. The view through this mask is incredible. I've been a certified diver since 1991, this is by far the best mask I've ever used!

This is a nice frameless mask that fits my wife's small face very well. It looks really good too. She had a significant fogging problem with it on the first three dives we took when using it.She's an experienced diver having completed over 80 dives and knows how to prepare a mask so it won't fog up. Every method tried with this mask was not successful for our initial dives.I washed the mask before using it with dishwashing soap. Just before the first dive I sprayed the inside of the mask with a well known scuba dive anti-fog product and rinsed the mask quickly. In doing so, I found that the anti-fog spray congealed onto the mask glass rather than spreading out. Clearly the mask still had residue on it that affected its performance.By repeating the process over and over again my wife was finally able to enjoy our fourth dive of the trip without enduring a fogging problem.The manufacturer does not provide any instructions with their product or on their website for proper preparation of the mask's glass surface before using it.They should ship their masks already cleaned and prepared.The plastic storage case for the mask is small and it can be difficult to properly place the mask in it.

Tauche nunmehr seit über 40 Jahren und arbeite als Unterwasserkameramann. Das ist mit Abstand die beste Taucherbrille die ich bisher hatte. Das Gesichtsfeld ist praktisch uneingeschränkt und die Passform hervorragend!

Die Maske selbst ist toll verarbeitet und hat mir beim anprobieren mehrerer Masken am besten gepasst, so hatte ich den Eindruck. Den Luftanhalten-Test hat sie wunderbar bestanden. Deshalb durfte die Maske mit auf einwöchige Tauchsafari.Nochmal kaufen würde ich sie jedoch nicht und wahrscheinlich werde ich sie auch nicht mehr zum nächsten Tauchurlaub mitnehmen.Positiv:- gut verarbeitet- sehr kompakt- sehr guter Sichtbereich- kleines InnenvolumenNegativ:- beim Tauchen drückte sie leicht unten an der Nase und dort lief auch oft Wasser rein so dass ich oft ausblasen musste. Ich habe eine recht große Nase und habe schon öfters gelesen, dass das bei Einglas-Brillen manchmal zum Problem werden kann.- Sonne von oben spiegelt auf dem Glas und blendet unglaublich. Teilweise habe ich meine Hand oben über die Maske gehalten um das Blenden zu vermeiden. Das Licht kommt von oben durch das transparente Silikon. Wer diese Maske möchte, sollte also unbedingt die schwarze kaufen.- beim Aufmachen der Maskenbox ist sofort eine der Laschen abgebrochen (sehr dünnes Plastik). Bei dem Preis sollte auch die Qualität der Maskenbox angemessen sein...

One of the best mask I ever own, the only problem is that when is new it has a lot of silicon on the glass it takes a while to remove it even with tooth paste.The visibility underwater is outstanding!

Die Maske sieht gut aus! Leider hatte ich überlesen, dass sie aus den USA versendet wurde. als sie dann endlich ankam, war es einen Tag vor meinem Urlaub. Leider passt sie mir nicht, da sie zu dicht an der Stirn anliegt - ich habe wohl eine zu prominente Stirn. Demjenigen, dem geteilte Masken passen, dem passt aber sicher auch diese...
