Perfect for my use
Wonderful fit. I really like the thumb loops, too. I purchased two to try these out, but they were out of stock when I went back to buy more. I hope to get more later after I assess the durability, but these seem to be well worth the low price. These are great for running in the mild (above freezing) winters here. Just use a wind jacket with pit zips and these stay warm when soaked in sweat.

The best of all the major brands I have in my collection
Medium-Tall Red OG long sleeve: 1st.. I received a personal hand-written thank you from the owner's wonderful family on my invoice and it felt so nice after years of having conflicting feelings about this website. I am a very athletic Alaskan backcountry adventurer, pilot, hunter, and ship captain and only wear wool baselayers - and have been for the past 15 years after the introduction of Merino to the world market... This is a premium product as you would expect from other premium brands like SmartWool (which has gone downhill and I do not recommend anymore) Minus-33, Ibex, Darn Tough, etc.. and perhaps a notch above with attention to detail, fit and finish. I weigh in at 6'3" tall, 170lbs all muscle with no fat with 39" shoulders, 35" to the cuff and a 16.5" neck. The Medium Tall fits very well and actually has an extra inch on my torso where I am used to having to "grin-and-bare" wearing a large for my arm length and/or torso. Very happy with the sizing options and I will be buying 2 more. I am happy with the true athletic fit to my athletic build. The thumb loops are excellent for wearing in the bitter cold to overlap when wearing mittens on the mountain in that pesky wrist spot that gets uncovered when maneuvering around or crashing into the rando powder puff. When skinning up in backcountry mode I have been shedding every layer except for this and it breathes great and smells fine to wear to the bar after... and maybe even the next few days. 0:-) Same with my XC set-up putting miles in with less effort.. still keeps me warm without having to switch layering - just hardshell off and go with a puff jacket never leaving the pack. I had this for 2 weeks with 50+ miles of legit snow travel in it and I couldn't be happier. I do own midweight baselayers from most major brands so I feel like this is a real comparison from a real outdoorsy person in a real cold and mountain-y area of the world. The color stays after the couple of washings it has seen and it still looks new (like most Marino). If I could see something on their website about supporting humane Marino practices like anti-Muleing or similar I'd say it was worth $100 a shirt.

The ideal base layer!
4 years later and this garment has been retired, but for a new one! I work as a backpacking guide, and it was as durable as merino can be under heavy use. It is the best base layer I have ever used. It is 100% merino, unlike most other wool base layers which are blends. The fit is form-fitting, which is important for warmth and to effectively wick moisture. It ran true to size. The thumbholes are in the perfect spot. Best of all it comes in the elusive large-tall size, and the small of my back is warmer while seated because of it! Tall folks you know what I mean!

Thumbs up, so far!
I ordered a medium tall and the length of the fabric from collar to waist is 30” which is great for me. Shoulder width from seam to seam is 18 inches. This is my first set of merino wool and I’m very pleased so far. I tested them this morning with 40 min walk at 19*F.I also wore the Merino 365 - 190gsm bottoms which covered by a layer 90/10 polyester/spandex running tights. My torso had Merlino 365 -230gsm with a polyester fleece mid layer, a thin 85% wool shirt, and a nylon windbreaker on the outside layer. I was comfortable the entire time. I stopped in the middle and rested for 15 minutes and only felt a slight chill on my legs but my torso was warm because of the layers (never clammy or sweaty). Afterwards, I stripped off all layers except the base layer, threw on some jeans and a thin dress shirt to go shopping and came over to a house set at 77*F for my elderly parents. I am not sweltering. I do not feel it necessary to remove the wool.Too soon to know about durability and odor resistance.

230gsm (mid-weight) feels much nicer than 190gsm
It’s extra-long in the torso, a bit weirdly so, making it suitable for tucking in but less so for sporting untucked for casual wear (for example, look at how funny-long it looks even in the model pics). But the 230gsm material feels very nice on the skin, hence my high rating. The fit except for the torso length is good too, especially the long sleeves (being 6’1” and 138 pounds, I find it difficult to find snug fits that are long enough).Weirdly , I also tried the 190gsm variant of this base layer and it was both worse (looser) in fit and more importantly, the material felt (slightly) scratchier. The gsm difference between the two is not that much but the feel is different, enough for me to keep the 230 and return the 190.Also worth noting that the 190gsm piece I tried is Graphite while the 230 is Charcoal Marle, which could well have made a difference if the weaves as opposed to just the colors are different.

Soft and Warm!
I love the merino wool. Very soft and fits me perfectly. I have long arms and only one size fits me perfectly. The Large-Tall works perfectly with my body style. I love to layer my clothes for the cooler days ahead and this Merino long-sleeve works perfectly in this weather. It has become my favorite long sleeve and I put it on first because it is so soft and warm. I am looking forward to the colder months ahead with my favorite long sleeve!

Warm but too thin
I really enjoy how warm this product is and it works really well as a base layer. The problem is it is the fabric is too thin and I can clearly see my nipples through the fabric meaning that I need to wear an undershed underneath so this products cannot be worn on its own.I'm incredibly impressed with the thermal properties despite this
