Proper heavy duty canvas with double stitching where needed. This will contain up to 25k of sand in my estimation. It works well for all sorts of exercise including double handed and single handed swings, though these have to be done thumbs up. Beware that gloves may be needed for overhead pressing as the canvas is rough on the knuckles. This bag will save you investing in a range of expensive kettlebells as it is adjustable in weight. It comes with two filler bags but these are not water proof, so I have replaced them with a PVC liner. One of these and a few liners marked at different weights and you have yourself a pretty comprehensive gym which will travel wherever you go. If you are a beginner then look no further. One of my best garage gym purchases, very pleased indeed.**** Update**** I have lots of good equipment but this item remains my favourite and the one I would choose if I were limited to one item. It is a useable shape and size and is tough. I'm 6', male, good fitness and average strength. This enables me to do a decent number of reps with good form. I love it because it's so cheap. This, a pair of trainers and a doorway chin-up bar and you can get seriously fit.**** Update to Update**** Not such good value since it cost me my home, my job, my kids' jobs, my wife's job, my pub, my cinema, my local theatre... all the restaurants I like... being very V careful about where I buy from now.

Ok I got 2 of these for my U13 rugby team as part of pre season fitness. We were using sand bags which lasted about 3 weeks so invested in these instead.They are great quality, really strong, looks like they are army type quality.Each one comes with 2 inner bags that you can fill with sand. 1 of these is enough to fill each bag so you either have a spare or you can put some in each bag and put inside. This give syou the option then to remove on equickly if needed. These have a drawstring so you can seal them properly.As you can see each bag also comes with 3 velcro grip handles to wrap around the 2 end handles and to wrap around the 2 middle ones.A bag of builders sand or kiln dried sand from a merchant comes in 25kg bags. I got all of this in one of these and it was full so i would say that is the max you could get in one.We have used these for sand bag carries, cleans and lunges. You could also fill 2 and use them for farmers walks. The most you would get therefore using this is a 50kg load (2 x 25kg)These are much cheaper than the pre filled ones you see. A 25kg bag of builders sand was about £2 to fill one.So overall they are very very good. I am buying another one so I have 3 different weights due to the range is kids size.very pleased.

Very strong bag cane very quickly works out a lot cheaper even buying sand than buying a ready filled pvc sand bag.inner bag supplied and 4.other pieces with Velcro which I have no idea what I should do with .Nice bit of kit takes a pounding

Ordered this a month ago and I have to say for the money it’s great! Filled it with sand, probably weighs in at 60lb. Delivery was prompt also. Very happy with my purchase and still going strong. For anyone thinking of getting into sandbag training, do it! They are very versatile pieces of equipment and they make you work hard!

Ho riempito la sacca con 15 kg di sabbia (chiusi in un sacco di plastica a sua volta chiuso nel sacchetto che arriva con la sandbag) e finora non ho avuto problemi. L'unica pecca è l'assenza di manici laterali ma è evidente dalle foto.
