12-Piece Plus Leveler Measuring Spoon Set, Caviar

This is an awesome set of spoons. Other spoon sets also have the very small measurments but are described as "dash" "pinch" etc... These also have the same descriptions on the spoons along with the actual measurement i.e."1/32". I purchased 5 sets in different colors to mix-n-match and give the other 4 sets as gifts. I would have bought a 6th & 7th set if they came in yellow and orange. By having each size in a different color it's easier to remember what's what and not have to search thru the drawer for the right size - just look for that color. With 12 spoons and 5 colors there are 2 or 3 of each color but the sizes are so different it won't be a problem. I recently made cookies and used the 2 TBLS to measure the cookies out and it gave them a great shape for baking and perfect size. This will work out well for bake sales. The fact they are dishwasher safe is a big bonus too.

I love my measuring spoons and all the different sizes. It's very convenient to grab the exact size you need. So since it was such a robust set of spoons I was so surprised to see there wasn't a 1/2T. I thought I'd surely misplaced it or accidentally thrown it away. But nope, it only comes with 1T, 2T and 1 1/2T which seemed rather strange to me since it has every other option you could possibly think of.Also it's not very non-stick. I was hoping honey would pour out of the spoon easily, but it didn't. Thick liquid items stick to the sides and I have to use my finger or a small spatula to get the rest out.Color is bright and cute and they're very sturdy. Scooped peanut butter with no problems.But for the convenience of the different types, I can forgive a couple flawsUpdate:"found" the 1/2 tablespoon... which was really the 1 1/2 teaspoon all along, duh!

I purchased these measuring spoons because firstly they are less expensive than a similar complete set in stainless steel and these are BPA free. I liked the full set that included the "drop, smidgen, pinch and dash" measuring spoons. I liked the fact that they were also marked in metric. I also like the slotted snap off-snap on feature on the plastic ring. There are certain sizes I use at least once a day for certain seeds and specialty powders that I put into my health smoothies. I don't need the whole ring of spoons getting in my way when measuring, so I have "snapped off" just the sizes I use and keep them in a small glass container right next to my FABULOUS VITAMIX Pro 750 machine. (see my review if interested) and keep the others in my cabinet with all my other measuring utensils. One disappointment is that the width of the handle won't fit into some of my spice and seasoning containers once the spices get lower in the container (for instance, McCormick). It's okay, I'll work that out in future spice purchases. By the way, I picked the blue ones.

Pros: I like all the many different sizes; the plastic is sturdy and not brittle; they're really dishwasher safe and don't melt or warp like my last set did.Cons: The labels are really hard to readHATE, HATE, HATE: There isn't a hole to thread them on the ring that keeps them together and in order--it's an open-ended slot. The spoons fall off of it WAY too easily. I'm washing them all the time, because when I go to use one spoon, the others on the ring keep dropping off on the floor! I usually throw out the rings that measuring spoons come on, because they're stiff and useless anyway, and replace them with a little beaded keychain from the hardware store. That won't work here--with this wide slot they'd fall right off. I'm going to have to start keeping them in a Ziplock bag, but they won't stay in order there, so I'll have to search through the whole bag to find the one I need. Stupid, stupid design!!

The feature to easily take the spoons off the ring is very nice and I hope other manufacturers do something like it. The big drawback is that the shape of the handle doesn't allow these spoons to go into narrow spice containers; so, they are only marginally useful to me. I do use some of the odder sizes like the 2T and the 1.5T for convenience. Overall, I wish the handles were narrower and bowl shapes more oval like the Prepworks measuring spoons Prepworks by Progressive Magnetic Measuring Spoons, Stainless Steel - Set of 5 which have been great.

I own 2 sets of these measuring spoons and a single set of the coordinating measuring cups. I bought my first set 5 years ago and they are exactly like they were then - I can discern no wear and tear at all. They are amazing. I bake a lot and also do twice-yearly meal prep sessions and they hold up well to repeated dishwashing. We've put them in the silverware holder and they've come out perfect every time. I finally bought a second set a few weeks ago because I really could use extra measuring spoons (I own 5 sets total, these are my favorite and what I reach for first), and my second set is just as perfect as the first set. I'm so pleased!

I bought these because I was tired of the old measuring spoons and when they arrived my family couldn't wait to get their hands on them! Nothing sticks to them and they are easy to use.Plus the 2 Tablespoon spoon is the most. perfect. spoon. for. soup. ever. I used it to make and eat almost boiling hot soup and it didn't melt a bit - this is an awesome set!Only problem I have is that they can label all of the smaller spoons with cute phrases such as "dash", "pinch" so on and so forth but the larger spoons go from 1T (teaspoon) 1 1/2T (teaspoon) 1T(Tablespoon) 2T(Tablespoon). Next time they make these I hope they decide to print Tablespoon on the the actual tablespoons. But don't let it bother you, you should totally buy this set!
