Disney Tinkerbell Initial Silver Pendant Necklace

I bought this as a gift for my 10 yr old cousin's birthday after Christmas. I can't wait for her to open this gift. She is a big fan of Tinkerbell and Disney Princesses. I found the pendant "Tinkerbell and her initial of S" to be the perfect size; meaning normal size of any pendant you would find in stores. The back of the pendant says ".925 Disney" referring to the fact that the pendant is made of silver. The pendant is adorable. You can clearly see Tinkerbell holding/standing next to the initial. I know my cousin will love it. I didn't pull out the chain because it was nicely gathered & attached to the Disney box it arrived in, since it's a gift I didn't want to mess up and not be able to get the chain back in box nicely; the box did indicate the chain was of 18 inches in length. I hope the chain will not be too big for my cousin.

This was a birthday gift for my 14yr.old granddaughter, who loves anything faires and especially Tink. Just so happens her first name starts with T. It was a HUGE hit as I suspected it would be. Looks like fine jewelry and she will probably wear it for a long time to come. Glad I made this purchase and would recommend it.

Let me start by saying that this necklace IS super cute. I ordered it for my daughter to wear to my Disney-themed wedding and I think it will be perfect. HOWEVER...I was absolutely shocked when I opened the box to find that the necklace was entirely disassembled. The chain was where it was supposed to be, but completely separate from the jump ring that would have connected it to the charm. Then the charm, also completely separate, was taped into the box.It is so unprofessional for a piece of jewelry to arrive in this condition. I understand it's not exactly "fine" jewelry, but from the photos that other people have posted (and from my own expectations), it seemed reasonable to assume the necklace would arrive in one piece. I am going to try to fix it on my own, but if I'm unable to do so in a way that doesn't damage the jewelry, I will be returning the item.

I bought this as a present for a friend who loves anything to do with Tinkerbell and she absolutely loved it.

Package was delivered quick and efficient. Pendant itself looks really nice as expected. The chain does seem to be a little bit flimsy though. Not sure how it will last. Would still recommend considering the price.
