As pretty as the picture
It looks like the picture! And the wax and glitter started swirling almost in no time. All the lava lamp reviews on Amazon seem so horrid I had to take a moment to let y’all know that this one is not the case. At all. It’s very sturdy and the glass is thick. The base is plastic but holds up well and doesn’t burn you compared to the metal base of traditional lava lamps.Best of both lamps in one, what can I say?

Cloudy water - terrible product and waste of money!
Mine arrived with cloudy water. And even after running it for about 4 hours, the water was still cloudy. I paid $35 for something that doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to. Save your money and find a better product from another seller.Update July 2, 2020:Since my initial review, I decided to give the lamp another chance so I ran it for more than 8hrs. Water was and is still cloudy, unfortunately.Maybe I just got a bad one, but I’m not willing to take a gamble with a $35 price tag.

Nice fun lamp, better than expected
I bought this lamp and two of the 16.3" Original Lava Lamps, one blue and one red. The Red lamp works great. The blue I returned because it was cloudy. I replaced that one as well. The Lava Lamp needs about 3 1/2 hours of operation before the lave begins to flow while the Groovy Motion Lava Lamp begins to flow at around 2 hours. The Groovy lamp lave flows rapidly in many little clumps which also displays shadows on the wall. The Lava Lamp simply has one big lava clump. I'd buy this lamp over the Original Lava Lamp every day of the week.

The lava movement is cool I guess...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I ordered this lamp and when I received it, the on/off switch was broken. I returned it with no problem and re-ordered it. When I got the second one, it was broken in the same way, although I could tell it wasn't the exact one I'd sent back. I sorta figure if I send it back again, the 3rd one will have the same problem. Taped for now to check it out! See attached picture and video. The liquid is extremely cloudy. I left it on overnight in the hopes the cloudiness would lessen. There is small lava stuck to the glass down low, I have another lamp that has this problem and from experience, I know it will get worse. But the lava is cool! It moves around awesomely, I just wish I could see it better through the fog! Keep or return again...?

NO Instructions as how to remove lid to lava chamber
I have no idea how to successfully remove the lid to the glass lava chamber without shattering or breaking the neck. Does ANYONE HAVE A CLUE OR TIP AS TO DO THIS? Very disappointing and embarrassing when given as a gift :-( 2 Boxes packed into one flimsy cardboard box with absolutely zero protective packing. Both boxers were freely shifting around in shipping box without padding i.e. bubble wrap, peanuts news paper etc. I do not recommend this product and I've haven't been able to turn it on, not a good sign.

Awesome Item
This bubble tube is amazing, not to loud but loud enough for enjoyment. The lights and colors are perfect. And it comes with a remote! The fish and colored balls work great too it takes a day or two for them to sink down and start moving up and down the tube. But that's normal for these things, over all a perfect great bubble tube. Very happy.

Okay but quality is a little low. Buyer check other products too.
The metal is not shiny as in the photo. The metal is a matte black. The felt on the bottom was loose but I had to remove it anyway to tighten the screw for the base. Heats up quickly and it looks nice once it is going so that is what got it a 3 star instead of a 2.

Nice Lava Lamp (-1 star for slightly cloudy liquid)
When I received it, the glass part of the light bulb had broken away from the metal base. I contacted the vendor and they shipped a new bulb out right away.It's overall pretty good, but the "clear" liquid stays cloudy, a little more than the photos would indicate. Can't say I'm not a little disappointed.But one thing I was VERY pleasantly surprised with is the power switch. The product page says it is an "on/off" switch, but mine came with an on/off switch *with a dimmer*. So you can control the brightness of the lamp, which means you can control the heat, which means you can control how the lamp behaves. Lower heat and you tend to just get two big balls, one heading up and one heading down. But increase the heat and you get more balls/different shapes/more activity and randomness. It's fun to see the different behavior.
