Fit the existing metal rods in an older headboard and allowed for new side rails to be installed.

DIY job
Used these to cut the side rails on our bed down and attach to headboard and footboard. Works perfect. It's been at least 2 yes and they are holding up. Sturdy!

Measure, measure measure!
I got this to replace a sideboard on my old bunk beds. My son recreated the sideboards, but it was difficult to get them to fit correctly. The trick is to place the hooks in first, make sure they line up with the pegs and then mark a line onto the hook plate, showing exactly where the board should end. Then line up the plate with the end of the board and mark your drill holes accordingly.
