Although many of the reviews mentioned how cheaply it's made, I discovered first-hand that this helmet does the job its supposed to do. I had the unfortunate opportunity to "crash-test" it the day after I got it when I crashed my bike and my head hit the pavement. Although I got banged up pretty bad, I'm convinced that this helmet prevented a serious head injury or worse!

Bought this helmet due to the reviews and the price. Actually, I was ready to spend around $100 as been my habit in the past when I needed a new helmet. Glad I took the chance for many reasons.Fit: This helmet fit me like a glove. One feature I really liked was the strap placement. They sit further out from the ears and do not touch the ears like all the others. Padding is soft enough and comfortable. I was initially concerned about the dial adjustment as it does not click at a setting, but it still seems to hold in place.Weight: It put this on a scale and it read a surprising 194 grams without the visor. This puts it among the lightest in the market. This adds much to comfort.Appearance: This helmet has a sleek aero look. Looks like half of a walnut shell. One of the better looking helmets in my opinion.Safety: A little research reveals that all helmets sold in the U.S. must meet the same safety standards. What you pay for with high end helmets are factors like weight, looks, wind resistance, and vertical adjustment. MIPS is also an option but this usually adds weight and less ventilation.I'll probably order another one of these as a spare in case they discontinue the model when I need a replacement.

I was a little nervous about buying a bike helmet from Amazon, but this was a great choice! I love the color combination, it matches my bike perfectly. One of the best features of this helmet is the quick fit dial. You can extend the sizing to the largest setting, put it on and turn the dial to get the perfect snug fit. There are no straps to mess with which makes putting this helmet on easy and quick. The chin strap is very padded, but breathable, it is extremely comfortable without leaving your chin sweaty. The visor is removable which is nice, I leave it on but if you don't like it you could remove it.

Fits well, I wear a 7 5/8" fitted hat so I have a pretty big head. Looks good, like others have mentioned very light weight.It is comfortable, buckle not as heavy duty as more expensive helmets, but excellent for the pricepoint.Design and finish look to be good quality.

This is a great helmet irrespective of cost because it adjusts just like a hardhat, which is good thinking! It has a dial on the back that allows you to fit it to your bean just like a pro. The helmet is also very lightweight and comfortable. The strap is somewhat short and may not fit big guys right out of the box. But I fiddled with it and was able to make it work properly for me. Strictly speaking (because they are made of styrofoam) bike helmets are only good for one crash where you plant your head into a stationary object, so there's no reason to spend $$$ on something you're going to replace.

5/20/18 Decent helmet, just the padding in the front is thin and when you snug the helmet down, the foam pushes into your forehead. For the price it works.7/11/18 I'd been contacted by customer service about my review and what could be done about the padding in the helmet. Since I'd been wearing it several times per week for mountain biking at that point, I didn't want to send it back but asked for a replacement pad for the front. Today I got an e-mail back from the seller, and it looks like the pad option won't work, but will be reimbursed for the purchase. Good customer service and attentive.

I still have not used it but I was looking at it and the plastic cage inside was cracked. Doesn't look like a big deal and I fixed it with duct tape. Hard to say if this happend during shipping, while I was opening it or while it was sitting around the last 24 hours, but it goes to show how cheap the inside is since I have not even worn it yet. It still seems like a good helmet especially at the low price.
