Superwash Sock Wool Blend Mixed Color Gradient Yarn Drops Fabel, Superfine, Fingering Weight, 4 ply, 1.8 oz 224 Yards per Ball (102 Pink)

I really wanted to like this yarn, I had been seeing ads for years for it, or at least the Drops, brand from Garnstudio.But... hmm not liking it to much, this is a fingerling that I got to make a pair of fingerless mitts. I don't like the twist. I like to work with a yarn with a little more twist. It's not Horrible yarn, but I doubt I will be buying it again, at least not this weight. I might try a sport or worsted to see if the twist is as loose. The color is called Candy and to me this is really Not Candy like.. it's an EU product so maybe Candy denotes less bright or pastelly tones for EU then in the USA.I also noticed that even though it felt very soft to the fingers, stroked on my face it felt much less soft. Not crispy, more a tad wiry.

Was suggested to knit plain dyeable wool and dye it after the sock is done. Coming up.
