al Dente Ultra Premium Pasta Sauce, 6-pound 9-ounce No. 10 Can

I was told this sauce was the best, like homemade. Of course, I didn’t believe it but thought I’d try it anyway for my husband and I. Well they were right! It’s thick but not too thick, chunky but not too chunky, holds up to simmering with your favorite meat, and tastes delicious! Only negative is that the smallest can is huge. One reviewer said it freezes well so I froze what I didn’t use (3 containers worth) and hopefully they were right.

We love this marinara! We use it to make a few different pasta sauces or we just use it for dipping our pizza, grilled cheese or fried ravioli or cheese sticks.

Stanislaus Foods makes the best commercial pasta sauce that I have ever tried. Very little needs to be done to it unless you have a preference to add more spices to your particular tastes. The only issue I have with these #10 cans is that they frequently come dented and therefore potentially unsafe to eat. I'm not sure why this is happening, but there are others that have had this problem as well. The shipper needs to step up their game when it comes to transporting these cans. If the can is dented and the seams have been compromised where air can get in, you will have a spoiled mess when you are ready to make your spaghetti. This shouldn't be happening to such an outstanding product!

My wife and I are Italian food fanatics. This sauce is fantastic! I love the ingredient list - it's so simple, but SO DELICIOUS. We use it all the time when my wife can't make her regular sauces because we're running here or there chauffeuring our kids all over. The cans are HUGE, so you either need to freeze a bunch or use a bunch at once. But we save small containers (portion it out so there's about a meal's worth in each container) & throw it in our freezer. When we have a crazy week on the calendar we throw a container or two in the fridge and know that we have a simple & delicious start to any pasta dish / meal.

Texture/flavor are good, I usually get about two or three meals out of it if cooking for two or three people. I usually freeze about two portions for future use and then keep the can for bacon grease.

Good flavor and aroma, not a smooth sauce or too chunky and watery.

I've made sauce homemade for many years.This sauce is the only thing just as delicious or better. Everyone that I have gotten to taste this sauce agrees. It's the best.
