Can a 10 year old use this?

This 130EQ telescope is relatively professional. Children are recommended to use it under the company and guidance of an adult. If you are interested in celestial bodies, planets, nebulae, etc., you can try to buy it. We also have many reference videos about this telescope on YouTube. When you track the planet, it can also be used with our electronic motor which is sold on Amazon by SOLOMARK.

Can you see planets and/or deep space objects with this telescope?

The short answer is yes. Details of the objects weren't as crisp as I would have preferred. I opted to upgrade the eyepieces with a higher quality lens and a wider Field Of View. Those haven't come in yet, but I'm hoping gor clearer and crisper images. Images of the moon were of good quality with the stock eyepieces. I also posted a full review of the telescope as well.
