Fun
I liked it a lot...no need to compare it to high budget games...good atmospheres, fluid combat and creepy enemies...not perfect but highly playable.

Survival Horror done right
Really love this game, can't belive all the hate people give it. The story is a typical horror plot so perfect, voice acting is perfectly horrible, controls and graphics really look and feel nice, levels are interesting and varied, the atmosphere is top notch, and it is scary. There are definitely some flaws in enemy attacks and sometimes a little unbalanced game play but if you are an actual survival horror game fan you will love its charm. Recommend daymere difficulty with the traditional setting for the most challenging experience ;)

Daymare 1998: A Nostalgic Horror Experience
Daymare 1998 is a survival horror game that pays homage to the classic horror games of the late 90s and early 2000s. As a fan of the genre and a gamer who grew up playing games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, I was excited to dive into this game and see how it stacked up against its predecessors. The game takes place in the small town of Keen Sight, where a secret research facility has accidentally unleashed a deadly virus that turns people into violent monsters. As a member of an elite military unit sent to contain the outbreak, it's up to you to fight your way through hordes of infected and uncover the truth behind the disaster. The gameplay in Daymare 1998 is a mix of survival horror and action, with a heavy emphasis on exploration and puzzle-solving. The controls are tight and responsive, and the game's difficulty is definitely on the challenging side, which adds to the overall tension and sense of dread. One of the standout features of Daymare 1998 is its nostalgic feel. The game's fixed camera angles, tank-like movement controls, and pixelated graphics are all reminiscent of the classic horror games of the late 90s and early 2000s. It's clear that the developers were aiming to recreate the feeling of playing those games, and they've done an excellent job of capturing that atmosphere. Overall, I would highly recommend Daymare 1998 to any PlayStation 4 gamers who are looking for a challenging and nostalgic horror experience. It's a game that will definitely appeal to fans of the classic horror games of the past, and it's a great addition to any survival horror fan's collection. So grab your controller, turn off the lights, and prepare to be scared!

Almost like RE 2&3 remakes?đ¤¨
I learned about this game on YouTube about year ago and thought it was a another fan made Resident Evil remake game until I found it wasn't when saw there was a PS4 release for it few weeks. I'm giving it a 3 star review because the graphics and story is good but the gameplay is somewhat bad mostly from glitches where you can shoot a enemy where half of the bullets don't kill it or even slow them down much which you got attacked easily then on top of that is your slow firing speed where you have to plan in advance from a good distance. Other then that I would give it a 2 star review if they didn't add more puzzles and made the environment feel like the original Resident Evil 2 and 3 setup which the remakes are lacking as well spending about $13 help makeup for the glitches which is another reason why I gave a 3 star review.

This game makes me horrified.......... By how bad it is.âšď¸
The only reason I found out about this game was because I happened to wonder in GameStop to browse for a game I havenât played. While searching I came upon Daymare 1998, instantly I got resident evil vibes and immediately wanted it, but I didnât because GameStop was overselling itâs worth and I say that because if your a gamer you could just tell a game isnât perfection and when itâs not, it shouldnât be priced as big budget games. So I bought it through Amazon. As soon as I got I played it with the old school version which I assumed it would be just like the original resident evils before the remakes but nope it was just a modern take with the old clunky style so I restarted and just picked the modern gaming mode. Immediately i noticed the corny and horrible dialogue they have followed by the horrendous delay in impact of round on enemy. The zombies never actually bite you they just spit bile all over you like acid and you get hurt. The weapons were similar to resident evil as well as some of the areas you play in. I guess you should have some respect for this because they are clearly fans of resident evil but showed no ambition to create something different, if anything a boot legged water down game is what I played. I wanted to love it so bad but I just couldnât it was painful playing and I just kind of wanted it to be over already. The reason I played the whole thing is because Iâm an avid horror fan related to games and I usually play every single one. I always feel every time I see or play a game how Can I make this better or why did no one even think about it, it boggles me to wonder if anyone is a real artist or enthusiastic enough to want to create a great game at Invader studios. Overall this is a decent game not worth checking out but hey if you need your resident evil fix here it is here ladies and gentlemen.

If you love resident evil franchise! Then this is the game for you this game is just like the âold schoolâ resident evil games only down fall is the controls which is super realistic but hard to understand the concept.
