Therefore, a womancomes out a winner and recuperates at a better pace, because her brain has time to process what her heart is going through!Guys break-up and have no need for closure; it's all about the other woman! We, women, need to regain our control and LeslieBraswell did a great job guiding us! Thank you for an amazing experience! The author reiterates a very simple principle: silence is golden. But she does it in a way that's fun, smart, and drives the point home really well.It's essentially based on the "principle of least interest," where the person who is - or seems to be - less interested in maintaining the relationship holds all the power.The thing is, you can use this in other situations too. For example, I use it in work situations where a coworker is being rude to me. I simply stop talking to them. I don't even acknowledge their presence.It only takes about a week of this, and then they can't stand it! It's actually hilarious!The key to this is that the silent treatment makes the other person realize you can, in fact, live without them. It says "You are not as important to me as you thought you were." It's an ego-kill. It lets you glide confidently away from someone who believed they ruled your world, and hold your head high.My only complaint is that the editing can be a bit sloppy, so the writing can be unclear at times. It was clearly self-edited. Hiring a professional editor would have helped.So buy this book if you need to stop contacting a man romantically, but it's great for other things too.
