works, but lacks documentation and driver support for mac
It works well, but the reason I dont give it the other two stars is because it lacks documentation. No drivers for macbook. Im a developer and macbook are just a much easier to develop on for many reasons, kinda dissapointed when I found it it didnt work for mac. When I gave it to a friend he still had some trouble with drivers. I just wish there was more documentation on this /driver support.

Quality compact mechanical keyboard w/some slight flaws - overall very good value
PROS:---------- Thin bezel- POM keycaps - thicker than normal keycaps, and the feel of POM is much nicer than ABS. These really are the nicest feeling keycaps I've seen at this price.- Excellent compact form factor, w/2nd layer 10-key, F-keys, arrow keys, gaming mode and media keys - 100% functionality in a 75% layout- Hardware switch to swap CAPS LOCK & CTRL keys- the name: NOPPOO CHOC MINI!! How can you not love it?- Engrish box covered with cute phrases like "Are you 87? Sorry, I am 84 keys :) "Are U Strong? No, I am a little boy, lovely?" and "OMG, I love u. kaka, ^.^ Plz Take me away"- Thick (but not braided) USB cable; soldered on, but sufficiently long- Lightweight & small for easy transport- Cherry MX Blue switches - my favorite!- NKRO; tested and verified to register as many keys as you can press at once - let the facerolling commence!CONS:---------- Flexy, lightweight feel. Despite plate-mounted switches, this board feels a bit flimsier than my other mechanicals, and it definitely gives if you twist the board. It's more solid than a KBT 60% Pure, but not nearly a hefty/solid as a QuickFire Rapid / Rosewill RK-9000 / Filco / etc.- Spacebar & backspace key both rattle- backspace rattle is pretty bad; wire stabilizers will have to be lubed & modded to cut down on the rattle, but don't expect this to be an extremely quite board (especially not with blue switches.)- Laser etched + infilled lettering gets dingy/fades relatively fast. It's probably hard to tell in photos, but the white lettering quickly gets dirty looking / wears down so they are not a crisp white after some use. Quality of the caps feels great, but the lettering doesn't look like it will hold up as long as the keyboard.- Doesn't remember settings on bootup; anytime I reboot my computer, keyboard starts up in NUM Lock mode and needs to be toggled back to the standard mode to login.Other thoughts:-------------- Key cap height is shorter than most standard MX keys; replacement caps may not match the stock caps that come with board.- Will not work natively under Mac OS X - as I understand it, there may be a workaround using a USB hub but it's not worth it unless you are seriously set on using this exact keyboard with your Mac.(The Choc Mini achieves NKRO by emulating a USB hub or something.)- No detachable cable; some may see this as a con, some as a pro. The included cable is long enough that I don't really care, but be aware the cable is not braided and not replaceable. No custom paracorded USB cables for this little guy. This was the third mechanical keyboard I purchased (I own five currently) and it's still one of my favorites despite the listed flaws. I love the layout and the space it saves on my desk, as well as the delicious sound this keyboard makes when typing on it. If the keycaps were PBT w/dye sub like the white version, or doubleshots, and the spacebar/backspace keys didn't rattle around, this would be pretty much the perfect keyboard imo. At this price point however ($89.99), I'm more than willing to overlook the infilled lettering and other fairly minor complaints - this is great value for an extremely functional mechanical keyboard that feels great to type on. Overall 4.5 out of 5 stars - bumped to 5 stars since Amazon won't allow .5 star.

Not compatible with the Mac
Not compatible with Mac OS, and not labeled as such. Really? Really? What is this? The nineties?FWIW it looks nice enough, and feels nice enough. Too bad I can't use it.

Review of the RGB/programmable version of the Noppoo
This review is for the RGB and programmable version of the Noppoo Choc 84. The dimensions were different than stated. My keyboard has length 12.6" and width 5.2".PROS:1. I was looking for a 75% programmable keyboard, and I don't know of any options besides this Noppoo. It comes with a program on a mini CD that is in Chinese by default, but there is an option to switch it to English. There is also a manual that was not translated well to English.2. The lighting is programmable, allowing great flexibility.3. You can program it in various ways and save custom profiles.4. Rubber bottoms make it so it sits very firmly on my desk.CONS:1. The keyboard has an OFFICE mode and CUSTOM mode. The CUSTOM mode needs to be activated to use the programming features. I do a bit of word processing and I wanted to program in the em-dash "—". The em-dash is ALT-0151 and it needs to use the keypad instead of the numbers above. To my dismay, I found out that the numeric keypad does not work in CUSTOM mode; it only works in OFFICE mode, which can't use the programming features.TLDR: While the keyboard is programmable, I can't program the things I want to. Therefore, I am using Autohotkey and the built in programmable feature is useless to me.2. This model seems to be missing the debounce feature Fn+F10 and Fn+F12.3. Switching between OFFICE and CUSTOM mode takes two seconds or so. I wish it was automatic.4. The "z", and "x" keys were not working out of the box. I pulled out those two keys and replaced them and it works now. The problem is the "z" key feels different when pressed; i.e., it feels different when I press the "z" key then when I press other keys.5. Spacebar was wobbly, because it was missing the piece that connects to the stabilzer bar. Low and behold, I found it as I removed my "w" keycap as it was making a noise while depressing.6. The backlights bleed over so that you can see the lighting on the front edge of the keys. For example, where the numpad 5 is on the front edge, I have a yellow spotlight on it. See the picture.7. I'm starting to get keys repeating less than 3 months in; i.e. "s" comes out as "ssssssss". I downgraded from 4 to 2 stars because of this. I suspect the problem will get worse. The debounce option seems different on this programmable version.

Good so far
Good so far! I've only had it for about three hours but so far it is working great. Build quality was something I was worried about but it turned out fine. Switches are great-- blues are 45g of force, and that's apparently kind of low for me. I'm still bottoming out the keys (which you are not supposed to do AFAIK) so it will take some practice. On a sidenote, I thought this was the backlit version. I was glad to find one that was cheap and backlit, but I didn't read the description closely enough. My bad. If I splurge for a fullsize mechanical later, I'll definitely look into a backlit one.

damaged stabilizers
The stabilizer on my space bar was broken and not able to be repaired. For the price I paid it was unacceptable to have to fiddle with that and would not buy another again. Things that were nice about the keyboard was the lighting, switches, and no gamer font on the keycaps. I decided to buy a different 75% keyboard in the end.
