I have tried every expensive conditioner around and am so happy I found this. I really like all of their products but was worried their natural conditioner would not be strong enough. I was wrong! It’s great. Smells good but not strong and comes in a cute container that’s not the easiest to open if you have small hands but looks good.

My hair is silkier and shinier since using once a week. I have fine blonde hair and leave on for a few hours at the ends before washing out.

I've spent hours combing Amazon for products that are not only affordable & highly rated, but also either EWG-verified or have no alerts on the Clearya app. Definitely not an easy task. So when I came upon this hair mask, I was definitely having to pick my poison and weigh the pros and cons since it was almost impossible to find a totally non-toxic hair mask that people also said worked. I've officially used up the entire contents of this container, so here are the pros & cons:Pros: Honestly couldn't beat the price. When I bought it, it was on sale for $5.99. I definitely think it was because the box & container looked a little scratched up, but the contents inside of the container looked fine, so I wasn't worried. It did make my hair much softer, and helped with frizz. I describe how I use it down below. It also has *mostly* clean products, and I appreciate that they clearly show the ingredients list on the box right in the product photos - whereas most companies now (I'm noticing) are conveniently leaving out the ingredients list in the product photos and just emphasizing the key ingredients.Cons: Two ingredients come up as alerts - Orange Peel Extract (not worried about that myself, but it does come up as an alert since it can be an irritant for some people), and Behentrimonium Chloride, which is a no-no. BC is an organic compound that hair companies love to use because it helps with frizz & detangling, leaving hair conditioned & soft. However, long story short, it's an "unacceptable ingredient" for EWG. So, how I decided to use it:How I used: The instructions say to apply to clean, dry hair and to leave it in - I personally don't recommend just leaving it in because there's no way it doesn't feel like putting conditioner in your hair in the shower & not rinsing it out. It's definitely not like a leave-in spray conditioner. I did not want to apply this directly on my scalp because it's 4x more absorbent than the rest of your skin. So I decided to use this in conjunction with my hair oil. Super easy - hair mask day (once a week) meant that I massaged my hair growth oil onto my scalp (the oil I bought is only meant for the scalp, not the ends of the hair), applied this hair mask to the rest of my hair, used a claw clip to loosely hold up my hair, let it sit for several hours, then washed both of these out with a clarifying shampoo. I'd still use my conditioner after I shampooed (because clarifying shampoos can be drying). I've noticed that after doing this process, my hair is softer than normal but also less frizzy than it usually is on other days when I just shampoo/condition.Scent: I love that there is no synthetic fragrance/perfume added to this - I don't want that in any product I use. So the fact that this isn't heavily perfumed actually makes me happy, because it's not toxic to breathe when I leave it in my hair for several hours. I realize though that most people want a fragrance, so if that's you, you probably won't like this. The best way for me to describe it is like very faint baby powder (but there's no talc, don't worry).Still looking for a 100% clean hair mask that's highly rated - but for $5.99, this wasn't a bad deal when I got it. I can’t use it as a leave in. My hair is too fine. It works fine as a conditioner. It doesn’t smell as nice as the other conditioners of this brand but it’s fine. I wouldn’t buy it again simply because of my hair type. I could see it being great for thicker, course hair.

I use this for a leave in conditioner. I got a bottle I put some water in it and put some Purador conditioner in it I spray after I wash my hair and every morning to get tangles out.My hair has changed for the good after using this product.It kinda smells like soap but I don’t mind the smell just as long as it makes my hair fabulous

Although I did see the reviews complaining about the item arriving damaged, I took a chance hoping the issue had been addressed by now. The item arrived with the lid broken, no seal, and looked dirty/old.The smell is very unpleasant, like the urine/dirty smell of a grocery store public restroom.I’m not sensitive to smells and I’m willing to use products that don’t smell very great if the effects are worth it, however this smell is very offputting. I really tried to give this a shot(for science and fairness before writing a review) but I did not notice any effect on my hair after using this and did not feel comfortable using this more than once given the questionable quality and awful smell.

LOVE this product. I’ve been using it on my daughters hair when she gets out of the shower for about a year now. Now oily at all. Comb goes right through it. We only use a penny sized amount all over her hair. She has long, soft, tangly hair and it is PERFECT!

I love the wooden container that this come in, it’s wooden over glass. The leave in treatment works to soften my hair. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and my hair does seem to be getting healthier. I have dyed 4C hair and this now allows me to comb through it a lot easier. It has a nice subtle scent.
