All the buttons work! I was a bit skeptical because of the price but I mean it when I say great item with a great price! Easy plug in to the ps2 so far no issues at all!

Does it work? Yes works just fine How does it feel? If I was blindfolded I would not know the difference between this and an authentic PS2 controller, looks as true to the original as they can get without being sued. Buttons are crisp and toggles are smooth. No sticky feeling on thumb sticks. Does it connect to PS2? Yes just like original. Overall if you need a controller for your PS2 and don't want to buy an ugly weirdly shaped reproduction or spend $100 on an original, this is a solid compromise.

My originals died and i bought a replacement last year but it felt cheap and bad fitting. After a little time the L2 button worked intermittently. Put in storage for summer and got out last month and still worked like garbage. I purchased the Cipon controller due to reviews. They were right. It feels real good and solid. No play in buttons, they are tight and solid. After this review i’m getting another so i can play twisted metal 2 with my grandson. The connector end felt tight but it should be. Very impressed. Finally a quality product to write about. Well done Cipon!

Controller works great and feels exactly like the original. However, the chord is extremely short, probably only about 5 feet or so & can't lean back into my couch.

Believe me, I've ran into some really bad Third Party PS2 Controllers, and I can proudly say the CIPON is definitely not one of them. I was shocked at how much I liked this one. It controls great, it feels great in my hands, the Rumble is impressive and overall I just really dig the Chunkier feel compared to the Regular Duel Shock 2. Easily the best Third Party controller I've used in a long time and it actually made me revisit my PS1/PS2 Library. I may actually consider grabbing a second one considering the price!

The controller feels solid and appears to be made of decent materials. Does not seem cheaply made or anything like that. Works fine for 95% of the time, but for some reason the left joystick will randomly stop sending signal to the PS2 until you release it back to center and try again. Such as to say, if you are playing a 3rd person shooter, and you are running, your character will suddenly stop moving, and it will take you a couple seconds to figure out that you need to "retry" the joystick (probably allowing you to get shot to death). Or if you are playing GTA, your car will suddenly stop turning and it will move straight (probably into a wall). Seems to happen only when pointing the joystick toward the 10-11 o'clock position. This issue is moderately annoying and makes it difficult to play. When it happens, you are instantly pulled out of the gaming experience. I played for about 1 hour and it happened about 5 times. If I was playing games with the kind of intensity I used to when I was a little kid, I probably would have thrown the controller across the room and shrieked until my mom took the games away. But I am adult now, so I just kick the dog instead (chill out, that was a joke). All this in mind, I do not know if this is a common issue with these controllers, or if I simply had some bad luck. My assumption is that there are some quality control issues, or perhaps inferior electronics have been used in construction. Perhaps if I returned it and exchanged for new, the replacement controller will be perfectly fine. I will not be taking the risk again, though; going to shell out the extra cash and try to buy a brand name controller.

This controller may have a dumb name but there is nothing dumb about the quality. I have bought may used ps2 controllers in very good condition but I was tired of wearing them out. Then I got this, very skeptically. You never realize how bad the OEM ps2 controllers had it until you play with this. What game makes this controller shine the most. Shadow of the colossus, it is so much easier with how responsive it is as well as the joysticks being significantly better.

Très bonne manette , aucun soucis de fonctionnement , néanmoins je l’ai reçu avec une broche en moins , je n’ai actuellement aucun soucis , mais ne sait on jamais !

Ich spiele aktuell wieder häufiger PS2-Spiele und brauchte deshalb einen zusätzlichen Controller. Ich habe den Controller an meiner PS2 mit mehreren Spielen getestet und war positiv überrascht. Die Eingaben werden direkt umgesetzt und ich konnte keine Verzögerung feststellen. Die Verarbeitung fühlt sich gut an und vom Spielgefühl her ist er kaum von einem originalen PS2-Controller zu unterscheiden. Tasten und Analogsticks funktionieren einwandfrei. Der Controller wird nach dem Einstecken sofort von der PS2 erkannt, ganz ohne Einrichtung. Für den Preis ein wirklich guter Ersatzcontroller. Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden.
